Wow! That was an excellent presentation! You deserve full marks for it. The video you created is very soothing and the photos you captured are simply amazing! I have been using Fujifilm cameras for over 25 years now. In fact, I was among the first ones to use an original X100 when it was introduced by Fujifilm. Currently, I am using various Fujifilm cameras and I only use Fujifilm cameras. I am an unofficial brand ambassador for Fujifilm!

Professional presentation? 😅 She should be it's how she earns her money 😂.. Do you think she's going to chop off the hand that feeds her? OK let me put it simples on this camera... 98% of this camera is the V.... Same lens, same focus speed, same memory cards and read right, same case, same everything but for chip and ibis.... That's not a lot of upgrade of £1600 for these two upgraded parts over a V

You can define “content creator” as those temporary RU-vidr instagrammer who know nothing about cameras or photography, who follow the trend of other RU-vidr and instagrammer who buy expensive equipments without knowing how to use them. That will make us feel better 😂

"Content creators" are a massive user base for "proper" cameras these days and the X100 is an ideal camera for many creators. It doesn't mean that it's not also a great camera for people who class themselves as photographers rather than content creators :)

Good job, finally a review that actually describes the most relevant aspects of this camera for those of us that are not familiar with the older version, I was in particular unaware that you could shoot on 50 and 70 digital boost (makes sense given the size of the sensor, I am used to this in Sony's high mega pixel cameras) . I used to shoot Fujifilm (X-T3) and moved to Sony, I was not in particular happy with the colors coming out of their JPEGs and RAW processing in Lightroom lacked , I am ordering this camera and will test once more to see if those issues were fixed, I like the size and looks a lot, I want something that I can take with me on a trip without having to carry a huge bag, Sony, unfortunately, does not have anything equivalent to this , they have the A7CII, great camera, but, once you add an external lens, the lightest set would be about 630 g and I think it is a bit larger ........

Great video from you as ever. The thing is - it has made me love my X-T5 even more. I can couple it with the 23mm F2 for the same effect (although a little bit larger - but not too much). Then I have the flexibility of adding extra lenses. Then the battery lasts a lot longer, the LCD is a lot more flexible - and the price is not too much different in the scheme of things. Oh then it it is intrinsically weather resistant. Ah and finally it has a D-Pad on the back - not sure I would ever replace my X-T5 with this - as I said, it just shows what a remarkable camera the X-T5 is.

Thanks for watching 😊 I think if you already owned an X-T5, this would be a difficult justification to add to your camera bag, because it already does everything the 100VI does and more and of course is so much more versatile! But, we see a lot of non-Fujifilm or non- ILC (interchangeable lens camera) users picking up the X100VI and the V before it to be their every-day and everywhere camera when they want to travel light. For example, most of us in-house have full-frame camera setups for work and external professional use, but we'd love the X100VI to take travelling so we don't have such big kit to carry around... P.S. doesn't it seem mad that we're calling mirrorless cameras "big" when compared to their DSLR equivalents 😅

That's much the opposite as the black has paint over the aluminium, so scratches will be in a different color.

Would Fuji build enough cameras to avoid the speculative price increase from 3rd parties ? This is the question. Over a previous shortage of fujifinepix x100v and speculative prices up to 2300 and higher ….I ended up to get a Nikon ZF much cheaper and more advanced camera… very happy with…..so would Fuji make this new model accessible and at an acceptable price???? Time will say if their marketing machine have any value

Your phone camera doesn’t have an APS-C sized sensor sensor, a decent lens, IBIS… any of the AF capabilities of a modern mirrorless camera… and the list goes on!

@@WilkinsonCamerasGood phone cameras DO have IBIS. Plus, they combine it with incredibly good electronic stabilization. There is no mirrorless camera that can compete with the stable picture on my Pixel. If cameras like this want to compete, they need to start using computational photography.

Ok for a native English speaker I would guess massive sensor means size wise big sensor. But that is not the case and you are misleading. If you took those pictures that you are showing, they are superb. 👌

X100v that they couldn't make it anymore, moved to China for obvious reasons, now with 40mp sensor and ibis! Is it good? Well, it is the BEST IN X100 LINE UP! I personally go for xt5 for the same price and more able than this or wait for Xpro 4! Who knows, maybe a light goes up in the HQ and they notice it!

Depends what you require as a photographer/videographer. The X100VI would be a great second camera to the X-T5, especially with it being small, compact and housing the same sensor and processor as the X-T5!

The Fujifilm X-T5 is undoubtedly an exceptional camera, but this X100VI has some unique features that set it apart. It boasts a built-in flash that helps capture stunning shots in low-light conditions, an optical viewfinder, and a built-in ND filter (with 4 stops) that enables you to take fantastic pictures even at F2 in very bright conditions. Furthermore, it is lighter than the Fujifilm X-T5. The X100 series has its own charms, making it a very stylish camera with an impressive build. When you hold it, you will definitely stand out in public.

Try putting that x-t5 with a lens in your pocket, or being unnoticed, or using the built in flash or ND, or composing with an OVF, or getting the same reactions out of subjects. Different tools for different purposes. Neither is better than the other, just different, and if you can justify two cameras complement each other very well.

Hopefully you’ll also agree that the B-roll shows each feature of the camera either up close or in use as well 😊

But the question should be to all the V owners is.... Is this camera worth £1600 upgrade over your V you already own? Simple answer is No.. If you own any other x100 models then yes, and that's where fuji have screwed up, personally I don't think this camera will be a massive upgrade to the already V... Bigger censor and ibis? That's more or less it.... And at £1600 probably the worst Investment you could take,

We’ve known people upgrade for a LOT less! 😅 The VI certainly has features that are worth upgrading from the V, especially if you want the subject detection or do a lot of low light shooting. It’s great news if you want a V as well because they’ll become more readily available pre-owned as people trade up to the new model 😊

It’s important to remember that the people presenting and creating these videos are human beings with feelings. Olivia not only wrote, filmed, edited and took most of the photos / video in this review… but we also think she did a great job of presenting the information and showing her enthusiasm for the camera. She’s certainly not monotone 🤔 Can we suggest having a listen with some headphones or in a quieter environment and hopefully you’ll enjoy watching the video 😊
