This is great. The goal with General Orders is to provide an entry point into our wargaming hobby. I'm glad that Paisley enjoyed it (and of course you too, Grant)!
Thank you for the review! Love the intro... My name is Grant... and I am Paisley... but felt like saying Grant. There is a board game for everyone. Glad you had fun playing together. Spending quality time together with family and friends is the best!
As I am an ancient Grognard steeped in Military History, Paisley's unbiased approach (and therefore reducing the likelihood of cognitive and historical bias?) was so refreshing. How about re-enacting an historical conflict using a CDG system as in Worthington Games Chancellorsville / Siege of Quebec etc system? It would be so enlightening to see a "non-wargamer's" approach to solving "the problem" . Outstanding video.
And I would expect that as this one is not going to be for everyone. The game is very simple and theme is pretty non-existent really but the mechanics are fun to play and the fact that my wife enjoyed it was a real win for me. Thanks for commenting.
