What file format do you format the SSD to edit on the external drive? is it exFAT? or APFS? or HFS+? and is it better or if you prefer it on the Samsung X5?

The Samsung T SSDs could really use built-in USB-C cables. I’m always misplacing them because I don’t want to leave them plugged in and damage the port.

ricky v it does seem more expensive but i’d argue that for the speeds it’s worth it.. maybe it could be like £50 cheaper though or something.

NVMe SSDs are higher price points than M.2 SSDs. The AtomPRO is for workflows that desperately need the speed. If the price point is a concern, the AtomRAID or single SSD Atom are still fast options at a lower price point.

You are assuming that the Samsung touch encryption is safe and cannot be bypassed. Recommending it without testing opens your viewers to data loss.

That speed is impressive but it is NO where near the claimed transmission speeds of up to 40Gb/s for thunderbolt 3. Nobody seems to explain why this speed claim is made by Apple even when it is completely unachieveable with any ssd drive on the market.
