This is how you do a review. No unnecessary yapping or showing off your other gear, just straight to the point. Thanks man. I just ordered my blue one and I’ve been wondering if I should’ve just ordered the Deeper Chirp. After watching your video, I’m inclined to give the Garmin a shot. Bonus points for the Colter Wall flag. 🤙🏻
Thank you for that informative video, I have just purchased mine and was curious about all the topics you covered. Thank you! I'm looking forward to using mine when it arrives.
I've been trout fishing during late August on a mountain lake, but now the fish is gone from the spot where I was able to catch it every single time I was fishing there. Hopefully, this device will help me find them again.
Good video man. 👊🏽 Haha I’m wondering how much the gps version would help you find it if you cast it off and it floats away. Would that run out of range like the Bluetooth at 200ft or would it be way stronger and help you find it even if it ends up being far away on the other side of the lake. If it stays on that long also. Hmm. 🤔
Stumbled on this review and very impressed by how well you presented all the relevant information and what this does. Also what you thought about it and your usual settings. 👍🏼
I enjoyed the review but in my opinion when i tested it for ice fishing when the ice gets thicker than 7 inches the sonar gave reflections from the ice hole and after 12 inches it was increasingly harder to see the bottom. The unit is solid and I recommend it for all summer applications.
Does anybody own this ? What do you have to say about the fish finding abilities? Do arches show up on fish or is this something to just chart bottom contours and structure
The two small contacts near the charging port is what turns the unit on when in the water. Pretty sure anyway. I am still looking for the cone angle coming from the transducer.
@@mylifeisamememylifeispathe3140 Used it ice fishing a few times this season. It worked good for finding depth, temp and marking fish. Definitely spent less time sitting around spots that weren't holding anything. Not having wires to get tangled in was really nice too. Definitely bring spare power for your phone if your out in the cold or camping. Haven't tried it on open water yet so not sure about that aspect of it.
I have been using mine for several years have filmed many many youtube episodes with it. Not something I always use but it's def a must have tool when hopping around searching for em. Especially new bodies of water.
