It depends on what kind of music you listen to. If you want to listen any songs which require a deep bass, I recommend this sub. I am a picky person so the bass of the Sixes does not satisfy me although the bass of its is great. The sub can make the sound better and go to the lower bass. The bass will be more clearer and feel deeper. You can go to Costco and you can get this sub which cost lower $100 than buying on Amazon or Best Buy.

@@kenny4101 I listen to elvis presley, jazz music,, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana krall, pink floyd, led zeppelin, post modern jukebox, Taylor swift, some classical, dean Martin, etc... Don't listen to rap or bass music. But I'm guessing that the sub might improve the music I just mentioned? What do you think?

@@bradhuskers I think the Sixes has its bass so you do not have to buy a sub with those music. Is your room large?

Congratulations on your purchase! You can use an insulated single copper cable from the turntable ground to the speaker ground for the turntable. Enjoy !

Hi Brent congratulations on your purchase! As an initial setting set your subwoofer to 80Hz crossover point and then switch polarity and confirm for best performance. If your sub is too heavy' on 80Hz take it to around 60Hz for best results. Please let me know of your final results. Enjoy!

WTF? Why? These are for 2 channel listening! A bass is not even needed! If yo uuse for theatre...it would be such a waste!

@@TheAudioCouple On Amazon, the sixes are currently selling for $499! Can you believe that? That's a steal. The fives are selling for $799. But honestly, I'd think you'd need a sub paired with the fives. Apparently klipsch already designed the fives to accept the sub woofer, automatically sending the lower frequency to the sub, once connected. That's amazing.

Hello sir, I want use klipsch sixes with my oneplus tv. Sixes works with my tv. But i want increase mid level for vocal, i tried to change in tv equalizer, Even on my OnePlus TV, the equalizer only works with it self in built Speaker's, the TV equalizer doesn't work for the TV audio outputs (such as bluetooth, optical). I want control in sixes. Fives has Eq control app to save Eq settings in their speakers. Can use fives eq app to sixes. I want increase mid with my tv. I cant hear vocals(voise) clearly with my tv.

Hi Squeege. Thank you for your inquiry. The Sixes are slightly warmer in tone than the 600s thus for your application I would definitely recommend them. The only benefit towards the 600s is that they will play louder if connected to a very powerful amplifier in excess of 150 watts or so...but that's all. The Sixes are great! Thanks for the reply on this. I've been looking at the RP-600Ms because of how much Steve Guttenberg raved about them but couldn't seem to find any real comparison with The Sixes. They are both similarly sized and being a 6.5" horn bookshelf, I was curious on the differences aside from powered vs passive

@Aaron Ennis black is pretty neutral tho! I found an old written review from Steve Guttenberg about the sixes but he didn't seem to be as excited as he did with the RP-600M. Interesting

Hi Gustavo. Not sure - did you increase the volume on the remote. My advice check all connections and make sure they are correct and proper. Hope you will find the issue soonest.

@@TheAudioCouple I did, sadly the main speaker was defective. Warranty covered it and I'm expecting a new pair. Hopefully they will work ok

How is it possible that the klipsch sixes are less money than the smaller klipsch fives?

Jeff. Just bought the Rockville R HT stands. They are perfect for the sixes.

Buy a pair from Monoprice (they have a pair with a large top plate)
