Yep even today its kinda meh. Not bad just meh. I have my reasons. (Like the training course is kinda not that good)

i played it as a kid back in the day and it was amazing to me, going through jungles looking for snipers in the trees and giving commands! if you couldnt have fun with this as a kid you had issues

Same thing happens with any bolt-action rifle. I've pretty much completely given up on EA LA having any remote idea how guns work.

That "random aircraft mission that comes out of nowhere" is just before the final mission in the game. The earliest the Garand (or even the M1 Carbine, for that matter) shows up is Guadalcanal, which is halfway through the game.

DWTerminator: I have to disagree with you the type 35 also had this sight since it was mainly designed for the navy but the in game rifle seems like a newer type since it has more wooden parts also it was mainly used as anti air sights but it was also used to help shooting from the prone position but not for shooting at a distance you can adjust the sight for that on almost every rifle

What part of "wrong Arisaka rifle" is hard to understand? Type 38 didn't have the moronic anti-aircraft sights. End of story.

You're thinking of the Type 99. I know because I *have* read up on this subject. The Type 38 never had AA sights.

Against the games? Nothing. That controller is an abomination.

The PS4 controller is much better and tightly constructed. It's like a smaller version of the Xbox controller. The old ones are crap for FPS games.

I *hate* playing FPS's and TPS's on console. Doesn't matter what system it is. I f---ing *hate* using a gamepad for controlling an FPS or TPS. It's sluggish and imprecise. Anyway, as far as the controller comparison goes... 1. I much prefer offset analog sticks, especially if the right stick is below the buttons. It's just more comfortable. Even the Wii U Pro controller pisses me off with its parallel analog sticks. DualShock pads on the other hand have scrunched-together parallel analog sticks and require you to go up on *both* sides to reach the buttons. It's horrible. 2. PS4 controller's a bit bigger than the Xbox One pad. Not sure where you got the idea that it's "smaller." 3. PS4 controller's triggers aren't as comfortable as X360/XBO pads' triggers. Smooth curves are just much more comfortable than what is little more than extra shoulder buttons you can barely tell apart from the upper shoulder buttons. 4. The touchpad on the PS4 pad is just plain stupid. Even dumber are the games that make you use it. I have a similar problem with the Wii U touchpad (though that is considerably worse). About the only things the PS4 pad has over the previous DualShock pads are that it's not microscopic, it's not just a couple of straight horns jutting out of a curved block, and the triggers aren't just shoulder buttons. That's really not saying much.

One may say even modern time shooters have become dull. Why? Quite simple really. Germans and Japanase have become Russians and Arabs. Modern Warfare back in 2007 was a long needed breath of fresh air. New setting, new enemy. But in all following games you had the same stuff again. Not necessarily bad simply no longer fresh. Going WWII again but staying Allied, particularly Uncle Sam, is something which has been there in all colours. How about telling a compelling, grim and gritty, gory Eastern Front tale from the eyes of a German conscripted in 1941? Or the desperate holdout against an unstoppable Red Army from summer 1944 to VE in '45. Especially the latter one would be very dark in tone. Also it will involve Allied war crimes. Which is mostly new as, we Allies were we good guys, right? ;)

1. FPS's were not *remotely* in their infancy in 2004. They were well solidified by that point. 2. It was already blown out of the water by its contemporaries. Today's games aren't really any better as games, either. Just prettier to look at and with better audio. 3. A good game is good and a bad game is bad regardless of the year of its release. The tech may change, but the design is what makes it succeed or fail. Games don't have an expiration date. You'd do well to remember that.

yeah but we can't come down very heavy on these guys yes i agree with what you say on these videos but i don't think they were experts on creating the first person shooter games but the one who really got first person shooter games was call of duty. Medal of honor was fun but it was a sinking ship.

And another thing you seem to hate all these games is there any games WW2 first person shooter that you like or you just hate them all. And i'm asking this based on all the negative comments i hear in all the videos.
