I’m too broke to lose my wallet. I always know the location of my Wallet, watch, keys and phone. I even developed a checking procedure while I walk to ensure I didn’t drop it or get pickpocketed.
They aren’t rechargeable because they would rather maintain how thin the tile is. But yes, it would’ve been preferable for the tile to be rechargeable. But it would make it thicker.
Alvin Thai no fool, why u reply to mad old story. they got new one with replaceable battery. however they will be gone soon once apple tag is out. Tile hardware is good now. but they still want subscription based service. they won’t be here in 2021
Just got this in the mail today. Not sure how I feel about it. I wanted to love it. It's certainly thin, maybe a little too thin. It genuinely feels a little cheap, even my girlfriend said it looked cheap. Maybe that's due to the Horween leather. I'm going to give it until I have my matching Pixel 3 XL Nomad case & I'll decide.
Not true, don't spread misinformation. They last at least a year, usually more. And they offer discounts when replacing them. Still the best Bluetooth trackers out there.
If it is true, then you can have it replaced for free under warranty and it is not a big deal. No one is paying for this as it is not an ad. If it was an ad, we are required by law to disclose that. Any ad is specified as such.
for a full grain leather wallet thats about right, i just wouldnt get the tile tracker and it becomes $60 If you compare other companys using high quality leather like bellroy, it seems more reasonable
I'm one of the first to ditch my wallet, but there are a few drawbacks. First, Apple Pay isn't quite accepted everywhere. I live in a larger city and there are still places that just take cards or cash, ESPECIALLY going out to eat. That means you need to take at least one card with you. Second, a popular option, that I often entailed, was using a wallet case with my phone. Unfortunately, if you do that, you cant use wireless charging. For me, that meant I needed to use a wallet again, at least for 2 cards. Lastly, there are plenty of things people carry around like receipts, cash, business cards, loyalty cards, etc that aren't yet fully integrated into your phone. Either way, there are plenty of people who still use wallets. I think a thinner wallet is best, and this fits that bill.
Yes I understand that but many restaurants and stores are working with Samsung and Apple so that the wallet, may be a thing of the pass. I’m one of those people too, I live in New York City and a lot of merchant aren’t excepting Apple Pay but having a wallet is becoming useless I’m predicting about 10-20 years from now, people are going to stop using paper money and everything is going done through digital payments.
If we look 10-20 years in the future wallets may be unnecessary but that isn't any time soon. Perfectly suitable to pick up a wallet to use for the next decade.
. . . until you encounter a store that doesn't support it or doesn't have it working on their machines yet. Loyalty cards aren't supported very well, and ID cards are still cards with no sign of moving to the device. Maybe someday, but honestly we're still in the early years and it will be a while.
Hello from 2021! Please consider our FLUX cardholder in your next EDC wallet review. Coming in at 16 grams and just over 4 mm thick, it's a minimal as they come.
Another gimmick that will "Track You"..... I'll bet there are hidden costs wrapped up in this as well like the APPs needed, batteries, or the next version? Buy a good quality leather wallet & keep up with it.... it's not that hard & it'll last years.
