The EDT smells much sweeter to me than the EDP. I wonder if removing all those notes allows the fruity notes to be more prominent. Velvet Orchid is honey and flowers. I love spraying it on a sweater. Orchid Soleil is the one to wear for summer. :)
As I looked into it these days supposedly the black orchids have officially been marketed to both. As been told by the sales reps from what Tom Ford himself suggests now. Guess he got the memo about it
Regarding black orchid you’re testing the EDT. Do you have a review on black orchid EDP? I bought it and it’s misterious, amazing. I don’t find it’s a fragrance for women so easily
I have some Tom Ford and also smell some of them , For winter i have 2 that i love Ebene + T,Vanille. When i smell Velvet Orchid it was exactly what i want for me On Summer ... Is it ok for 45 years old classic man ?
I wear it and im close to that age 😉 For some it borders on the feminine side. I like it , something other than a barbershop fragrance, to switch it up. Thanks for watching 👍
I just bought it, it was next to the black orchid cologne in the men section. I'm talking about Velvet Orchid. Love it so I bought it. Didn't know it was marketed towards women, oh well.
