Absolutely brilliant review and love your pub shed. Although the Italian themed camp was good I think my favourite for the wild aspect was the last camp you did I love to hear the wind and also the rain beating down on a tent. I can see why you do dehydrated food but I do like it when you go all out with your food like cooking steak with all the trimmings or those Yorkshires you did that time in your oven - yes yet the oven back out 🙂 Maybe you could do a meal which incorporates another local favourite Hendo’s maybe. Good work with getting fitter. Health is the key to everything. I'm only forty seven but I have a muscle wasting disease I didn't manage very well and now there's so many things I just can't do any more and it's (mostly) my own fault. Don't take your abilities for granted like we all generally do, especially as you get older, and look after yourselves, people. Hi Pat, lovely to see another video from your pub shed. Each time we go there there's something new. I liked the beer mats on the ceiling, thats quite a collection, they all look new. Here's me remembering that Double Diamond works wonders!! I was lucky enough to do Ten Tors (Dartmoor) when I was a teenager, great memories. So yes do the watershed challenge it sounds really interesting. Look forward to seeing you do some Spanish dishes on one of your camps!! Hello Pat... It was great to see you back in the Pub again. We like the new additions. We find these kind of videos as nice. Where we are there are times when snowstorms prevent our going out at all. Really interesting looking back on 2022. You've got some great ideas for 2023 so looking forward to that. I remember doing the three peaks when I was in my 20's. When I was in my 60's I went back and just did Pen y Ghent, nearly killed me! you cannot avoid the ravages of time. I'm 78 now and still walking but I stick to the low ground. Drinking too much is certainly something to watch out for. Addictions sneak up on you by changing the way you think, so you don't notice it yourself. I had to stop drinking for health reasons about 15 years ago, and only after that I noticed the slope I had been on. Have a good rest of the year and thanks for all the quality videos you have created over the years.

Stumbled upon your pub shed video during lockdown and loved its development. I am no DIY expert by any means, but it did encourage me to sort out my messy shed and get it together to build a proper work bench single hand. Unfortunately no pub shed, but never say never!

Having targets and goals is a sure sign that you are not getting old at all. Keep on trekking and enjoying life.

A nice end of year round up in that favourite place - the pub shed! Snug in the snug - what heating do you have? Good you entered into the spirit of Xmas at the start but kept it sensibly in proportion. Thought for a moment I spotted a packet of Quavers on the loo floor. Had to laugh out loud at the 'Cherry B - a lady's drink' comment. Here is the dilemma. You're caught out in the open miles from nowhere and all you have is a Cherry B in the rucksack. Would you crack it open and take a slug? 'Get a pint to think about the problem' and that reassuring and satisfying sigh of 'very nice'. All is right with the world after a sip. I like the idea of the multi-parter. Love the evening meal, late night cocoa and then the morning breakfast with it all ahead of you again. Season's greetings and HNY!

Great to see the pub shed Pat. Very cosy. I used to collect Beer mats when I was a kid my dad got them from somewhere 😂 it’s called “tegestology” I had thousands. I spotted a few on your wall. Also a wylam one. Local brewery. I had one of a bear smoking a cigar (Bruno) it turned out to be worth a fortune. All gone though. It’s been a good year for camps. Glad everyone is getting out and enjoying the outdoors. I’ve loved watching your adventures all year (from years ago really) and hope you have lots more to come. I’m sure there are. So glad to see the pub shed is surviving the cost of living crisis. I can remember giving blood in London in the 80s getting a glass of Mackeson and roast beef sarnie, big difference to tea and biscuit in Sheffield. Not sure that Double Diamond ever worked wonders for me, prefer todays offering of our local small breweries. Thanks for all the entertainment Pat.

The beer mats on the ceiling reminds me of the officers mess bar at RAF Binbrook which in addition to beer mats had the boots of the pilots who ejected from the Lightning jets which were stationed there for many years nailed up. Some great ideas for next year. The first video I watched of yours, was when you did the Marsden to Edale route, a good few years ago now. That inspired me to give it a go and I rediscovered my love for the great outdoors, that had been put on a back burner. I reckon the longer walks you’ve got planned will be a great achievement for yourself, and make fascinating viewing for us. Keep challenging yourself, take care.
