Very honest review- first of its kind- the reality. The sound bar looks good, there are several issues with the firmware update. I got one for $850 CAD . the physical remote will not work well. tried online support. they helped as much as they could and offered a replacement which i am waiting for it to arrive. Klipsch has removed 1200 and 800 from there website but big box stores are still selling it proly they are just getting rid of their inventory. i m hopeful they they will fix the issues concerned.
I bought it for this price recently. Crazy value at that price. My first one had some issues, mostly just one upfire speaker cracking on certain sounds, but they sent me a new one and didn't ask for the old one back. So now I have two😂
I remember having this sound bar in 2022 it was a pain in the ass I ended up returning but it really has good sound. I'm thinking about buying it again 😅 because is on sale now $800.00 dollars is little bit cheaper compared to $1,899
Thanks for this review. I'm looking to buy a soundbar. And since i have a Klipsch 9.2 surround set now you can say i'm a Klipsch fanboy! 😉 But the cons you mentioned kinda worried me. Maybe the Samsung Q990D is the better option for me since i have QN800B tv, which then you have Q-Symphony. I'm comparing those 2 soundbars with the sonos arc + era 100's. But i gotta say... It's really hard to make the (right) decision.
I ended up using Dialogue setting #2 and for me it’s the perfect balance. I have a Samsung TV and have only had a connectivity issue once. I just switched the sound from Tv to external speakers and it’s been good since.
@@tonyredemann2001 even great so far. The phone app worked pretty good too. The built in equalizer give the sub the extra punch I was looking for. Love it when a movie is in Atmos.
Mine starts switching between bar and tv sound over and over. I have to click the settings button on my tv remote and select external sound and it works great. It’s an awesome system but the little issues get to me.
I’m very surprise of the new sound bar of Vizio , it’s really good , I just got it as a 2022 Christina’s gift but all the time I want a Klipsch , Now with this 1200 on sale ( $800 ) I need a help . I’m happy with my vizio system but do you thing it will be a really good update ? Help me !!!!
Curious about the level of EQ adjustibility within the app. Can you individually set the bass, mid, and treble levels? Is there a separate subwoofer volume? Do they work ?
Has anyone had issues with the loudness of overall sound on shows/movies on different streaming apps. Like on netflix it seems louder than when im watching on paramount. I feeo thats an streaming app issue rather than the bar. I never have that issue with music apps from TV. Other than that the bar is so amazing. Also i completely disagree with the dialogue being an issue. The dialogue is super clear at just +1. I would recommend editing surround speakers or something else if you're having dialogue issues. Ive notice some movies just do bad with dialogue sound, regardless of sound system.

Have you tried a optical cable plugged from tv to sound bar instead of using hdmi method and have all your source devices plugged into the tv maybe this would be a fix around for sound bar not having sound if tv is off for a day or to
I'd say it worth it. I got the 600 for $400 and was phenomenal. Everyone has loved it and said it's very theatre like. I haven't had any issues with it. Just beautiful immersive audio.
I have the Cinema 1200 connected to a LG C1 65" OLED, and I have the exact same issue with disconnection after the TV has been off for a day or two. I also get very frustrating delay when starting up apps, audio and video on the TV, where it's like it buffers before it starts playing audio, resulting in a few seconds of watching someone miming on my screen.
