Golf and cards are two tough hobby’s to manage. But I always tell my wife golf is not a hobby, it’s a sport. The pandemic boomed both. A lot of golf courses raised their prices and club manufactures raised theirs as well. A couple necessary evils….if you know what I mean. Have a great weekend!
When I first started to play, I teed off with a 5 iron every time. The only club I could get in the air and somewhat straight. Eventually used a 3 wood. We would usually always play for something, pop or hotdog at the turn so I didn’t want to waste any strokes with a driver….i didn’t have that kind of dough to be losing on a fountain pop😂
I was focused so much on the weight of the club. A Titleist 910 was the last driver I really liked. Was not huge on had some weight too it. It seems that everything is too light these days. I will pay more attention to the sound next time out. Somehow, drivers make all kids of different sounds. Jax’s driver did make a better sound 😂 as I went back and listened a few times.
@@sportscardrippingteacher Jax's driver sounds very similar to my Cobra driver which is more pleasing of a sound (to me), but that Kirkland makes more of a thud sound. I do like the heavy drivers though. They help me stay a little more controlled where as the light ones I feel like Rory and try to crush it.
@@bloodlinecards2416 They try to make everything so light for speed that a lot of people over swing and the result is the extremes…..smoother hook or slice into the next county. My callaway mini driver basically has the head of an originally big Bertha. I upgraded the shaft and it had good weight and helped with any difference in distance. I’m still on the fence about which one to play. I’m usually in the fairway or just next to it with the mini and I can hit both draw and fade. Kirkland, I was able to hit some little draws. I hit some hooks from over swinging. I’ll probably go to the range today to see how I can hit a little fade.
