Nice video mate. One also plus with the GJ Tool is it not only picks the WXM but also the original profile Ultion U11, U12, U13 and U14 profiles as well as the Brisant D section. The other tool will only pick the WXM. So from a cost effective point of view I will leave it there 😉
Cheers bud 👍🏻🔑 I did say that the Nsuper only works with the WXM but I think your explanation is better 😂😂😂, another point is I think the lead time even if you order direct from them is about 2 week
Great comparison Seth, I use the nsuper and have had a lot of success but I'm investing in the GJ's version for the very reasons you've highlighted! Cheers mate!
Eh up I have the n super and already have bought 2 and snapped wires ,not happy in the respect that you just can’t change the blades ,I am going to purchase the gj locks wxm one instead ,great videos👍
Good stuff mate. I apsolutely love your site it's my favorite by far and love your personality its gold we would get on like a house on fire thick as theives lol i love the gj stuff i get some here and there i like the epg i have kronos but i would have liked a gj one but im not a licensed locksmiths but my father was and my grandfather was and i should have been. I love every part of it but when i was much younger and the information i new it got me into a little bit of trouble had a stay in one of her majesty hotels for quite a while. And when i grew up a bit in the head years later after been in and out of the nick. i have all the skills tools van etc. But i cant get my licence because of my police record even though i paid my debt to society its baggage and they wont play not in Australia anyway. It really dosnt worry me to much at all I've done it for many years now i do a lot in the shadows word of mouth pubs etc friends its more than enough for me
I came across your channel (here in Spain) in the first lock down. I've watched all your euro lock videos, we don't have many mortice locks here. I've really gotten into it as a hobby and have bought some multipick tools. I've got quite good at raking and hopefully will move on to spp. I buy second hand locks from the local Sunday market. I managed to rake my own front door but the first time I tried the tension tool fell out, hit me on the knee and went straight under the door. Luckily I had the key in my pocket. Sorry for the long comment, I won't make a habit of it. I just wanted to say thanks for the interesting, helpful, and really addictive videos.
That’s alright Kevin I don’t mind long winded comments as long as they aren’t to give me abuse! 😂 and don’t you worry I’ve got a lot more videos to upload, and I’ve seen a lot of locks in Spain some weird and wonderful stuff over there
Exactly mate, this is why the GJ tool beats thus, although the Nsuper is user friendly like you said it can’t be pulled out, also the one GJ tool covers all profiles from the earliest to the latest
No you definitely can’t bypass these, in fact most euro cylinders that are manufactured now can’t because they’ve done away with the weakness that lets us exploit them
First step is ask yourself why? Are you interested in the trade , as in you have to love locks/picking, everything about them, second is check out how much competition there is in your area, if there’s already a number of established locksmiths there you may struggle to get it off the ground, and third you must have money to invest in yourself….training, tools, vehicle and stock it all adds up quickly trust me 👍🏻🔑
Do you find loosing the tension screw to allow free movement between pins, or tighten so it clicks between pins? I'm finding setting the wire to line up with the pin tricky as not sure it's lining up properly.
I’ve loosened mine off completely so the wire makes no clicks between to allow free movement….my advice is don’t get over fixated on the lines, they are just a guide
@@marklovell9236 it might be that you’ve come across a particularly tough one, I’ve had a couple that I couldn’t open no matter what. And it doesn’t matter if it takes you 2 or 20 minutes an open is always a win in my eyes
@@FortressLocksmiths that made me feel better 😂, not so bad when you have it clamp in a vice but have you been defeated at a customers property with one of ultion range?if so How do you deal with it?
@@marklovell9236 I uploaded a video a few weeks back where I had forgot my Ultion kit and ended up having to drill it out, was very pissed off with myself
@@FortressLocksmiths finally invested in 1 as there are alot of HS locks on composite doors appearing in my area now.... you did say only time ;-) trying to get hang of it now which is hit un miss at mo
Another great review 👍 definitely a plus been able to remove the tool for plug spin. Been looking at some of GJs tools are they much cheaper direct with him than on other websites I've seen ect ? Got my training in a week or so getting nervous 🤣 but I feel I've learnt a lot from you mate already cheers 🤣
