Can't believe i never saw this channel before, ITS CLASS!! i buy these types of modules all the time & you go over all there specs and i really love how you test them with the multi-meter, REALLY COOL!! what im trying to say is im subscribing right away... TEN THUMBS UP!!!
@@robojax no prob.. i meant every word, your channel is really awesome & very useful, i don't think iv seen another channel that reviews these modules the way you do!! i subscribed to you & really am glad i found your channel.. good luck with it & keep up the good work ; )
оолллI have been interested in the topic of booster modules and others for a long time, but this is the first time I find your blog and see super informative videos, with the right approach. My subscription is forever. Greetings from Ukraine.
Heppy to hear that. I have separate channel for Energy related modules called WattHour and you can view it here youtube.com/@watthour greetings from Canada. Thanks for subscribing.
Great review. However efficiency at 11:38 is 83% not 93% I doubt if package can handle more than 5W dissipation without additional heatsink. I think max output should be limited to 1A.
Hi, on some modules I did all standard voltage, but some how I skipped it in this . I believe the test I did from 5V to 24V should be very similar to what you are looking for. check it out. I can't test it as it needs a lot of setup and wiring.
The ratio is 0.555. So 2 amps output should have about 3.6 amp input. It might get hot at that rate if run continuously. Anything over 2 amp output might be pushing it unless you had a heat sink and a small fan. Even then 2.5 amp would be tops. 2.5/0.555 = 4.5 amps input.
I have made over 400 videos. your questions should be answered. Input and output voltages are mentioned so you know what is the minimum and maximum voltage. The maximum current is mentioned to you know the maximum. to get the answer, watch the video fully to get your answer. The power is P=IV, where I is the current in Ampere.
no. I am just educating people. if you go to eBay and AliExpress, you will see that they are selling with the title 5A. I just warn people not get fooled by the title.
if I hook up solar cells worth of 6 volts, and on the other end - 3S lipo battery, how can I make sure it does not drop the voltage and function as MPPT? Any small size mppt?
Hello you did not mention if you want to reduce a voltage from the source or boost it. Here is how to find Specific RU-vid Video in a channel bit.ly/findRU-vidVideo just search and you will I have reviews. Or check our Power/energy only channel here ru-vid.comvideos
I use li-ion 3.7 volt with charging module and connected with xl6009, but suddenly the output voltage increase up to 40volts and burn my arduino.. do you know this phenomenon?
will 5v3amp be converted into 12v1amp from this board for longer period of time without any issues? I'm kind of newbie but really want to delve into it. Kindly help. Thanks
110mAh is the capacity of battery. the current for this module is measured with A only . The input current depends on the output. if output is high, the input will be high and if output is zero, the input will be zero.
this is a boost converter. I made this video exactly to answer such question. I have mentioned minimum and maximum Input and output voltages. I have tested the amount of current at different voltages. So please watch and get answer. if I want to reply to you, I would have to watch the video.
Hello, voltage conversion is easy. the current (ampere) is the most important one. for 1A or lower, it would be very easy but for higher current, then it becomes complicated. here is the search result from AliExpress www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20201007041906&origin=y&SearchText=input+50V+buck+converter good luck.
what is 775? I have no idea. But regardless. this is a DC power supply and it will turn on any DC power supply with rated current which I tested. So first if your motor is DC, then that is good. then find out what is the maximum voltage and current it needs like 12V 1A. then watch this video and see if this can supply 1A at 12V at the output.
I have shown lowest input voltage. I don't remember, you have to watch it to know. But I always shown the minimum and maximum voltage for input and output.
All these xl 6009/6019 converters are a great way to blow up your electronic circuits. These boosts wildly swing output voltages at low input voltage . Most test review do not even mention this or warn you. Good luck using this crap. For more see the comment from richardnanis
just read your comment, so these little modules aren't relyable at all & have wild voltage swing?? i did not know that, but its good to know.. do you know when this is most likely to happen??? thanks!
