The latest Adidas Yeezy silhouette to drop, the Yeezy 500 released its second colourway in global retailers this past weekend. These chunky runners fit the theme of today's sneaker trends, but are they simply too "out there" from a design perspective to be embraced by the majority of sneaker aficionados?

Even without the boost, I find them very comfy and tbh, the quality is worth the money. Definitely happy with my purchase. :)

Glad I watched this. I was excited to get them but I can wait for the black color. I think those will be a lot more wearable. And since these aren’t doing to well resale wise the black pair should be available to get a little easier.

Great review as always, so just to double confirm, these are ok to size the same as the 700? My only concern is I have a pretty wide foot. I sized 8.5 and I’m considering a 9 in these. For reference, I did a 9 in the Crazy BYW, an 8.5 was too narrow in the arch. Thanks always!

I got a 10.5 in both 700 and these, and these fit roomier than the 700s. I could probably do a 10 in these.

Good review man! I also did score a pair off the confirmed app, but I didn’t bother picking em up due to the freezing rain and the fact that they seem more like a fad shoe rather than something classic I could wear for a long time. They do look kinda good on feet tho ngl!

@SeanGo I think you made a mistake saying that the 500 is the first yeezy without boost. The calabasas is the first shoe without boost and they released before the 500 IIRC.

I don’t know what this guys talking about because it is perfectly comfortable very well padded if you rank it from 1 to 10 it gets a 9 just because it doesn’t have boost if it did it would get a 10 nowhere near a deal breaker

Also, the Powerphase wasn’t a YEEZY originally but a silhouette released in 1988 by Adidas. That is why you don’t see it released in the signature brown box that YEEZYs come in. The Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase was simply a re-issue of the original 1988 silhouette.

Den Pars dude just because theres no noost doesnt mean theyre not comfy. Yall sleep so much on shoes without boost. I bet the same people who claim if it has no boost then no cop have tons of jordans or shoes that feature no boost. I mean what did you wear before boost? Boost has only been out for 5 years LoL.
