Not so much looking to use it as a biking bag, but more so for my light hikes. Would you still recommend? Also, I do a lot of hiking in mountains with lots of streams/lakes is it waterproof? I see the waterproof pocket for glasses and electronics but still worried it may get damaged if it were accidentally submerged in water.
It's not waterproof. But they do sell Dry Sacks. So you put everything in the dry sack, then put into backpack of your choice. I would use this bag for everything. It's light, tons of pockets, comfortable, ergonomic. You just need to figure out what size and color you want.
