Can't believe its 2024 (3 years from this video) and I'm blown away by your work here with the A10 and actually planning my purchase for it very soon!

In the section where you were using the A10 on camera, with the head aimed to your right, I noticed you were using the bounce card that comes with the A10 as essentially a flag. You had it turned backwards so the black side was to the light, and you had it placed between the flash and the subject. When I unpacked my new A10 yesterday, I figured I could do exactly the same thing and it would become the "BFT" for this flash. Is that what you intended, that the bounce card being used backwards and towards the subject would a flag to block light from going directly from the flash to the subject, like what the BFT concept is for?

Somewhat like that ... but not really. The bounce card is at the top of the flash, but the BFT is slung underneath. Check this tutorial out for the reasons why: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V5iCy6OK0rc.html

What light stand is being used here? Does it need an adapter or can be mounted directly with A10?

Any generic light-stand would work, but you’d need some kind of umbrella clamp (or similar) to attach the flash to the light-stand.

@@neilvn Thank you so much! Any recs? I do see Profoto has adapters for different add-on attachments and there’s one small flat stand with 1/4 hole, will either work?

@@atnightiwonder --I'm not sure which adapter(s) you are referring to?

Did you make your own gels or does Profoto sell them? Nice demonstration of the new A10.

Hi there David - I bought the Profoto Clic Creative Gel Kit. I like the way they easily clip on and off with the magnets. Here is the Amazon affiliate link to this gel kit: neilvn.com/tangents/recommends/profoto-clic-creative-gel-kit/
