REVIEW: "Red Band Society" Episode 9 

I love how you put everything into perspective! And the way you talk is just so poetic and intellectual!

so even though you are 110% right about Emma and her not getting better unless she's honesty and what not, I don't think you understand that since her illness is mental and not physical it's much different than just "be truthful so you can get better." a lot of the time with mental illness, especially eating disorders, people don't always want to get better, it's like an old toy that you know you should throw away but you want to hold on to because it's something that you grew attached to. Eating disorders are very much about control, a huge part about them is having control and being in control of something and even though in reality its more of being controlled by the disorder, people with eating disorders don't see it like that. Mental disorders are just so much more complicated and honestly, I loved this show when it was on but, it doesn't show how eating disorders are actually taken care of and what is done to help people and how people get better. I hope this made sense my thoughts are kinda jumpy so sorry if this is confusing

Hi, Claire! I really love your reviews. Two things: "Exhaustion" is usually what people say to cover up the fact that a celebrity is on drugs or alcohol. Also, Emma was able to take off the red band because it was Jordi's - you can see that there's a bend in it where she's folded it over to make it fit because Jordi's obviously a lot bigger than she is. :)

I think Emma being so tiny due to her anorexia might have meant the band could slip off her tiny wrist more easily

I love how you're calling Bullshit on some of the well, Bullshit! The show seems cute and all, and lots of people love it, but still, its cool to hear it being analyzed by someone who truly knows the ropes of being a "sick kid."

I always thought celebs going in to hospital for "exhuastion" was code for rehab for like drugs or something
