I broke down at #7 and I am weeping as I write this. Ever since my 3-year old granddaughter was born with CF, I have struggled with grief and anger. I don't want her future to be one of by suffering, pain, and unfulfilled dreams. Yet is Maysa shedding tears over missed joys or opportunities? No way! On the contrary, she faces each new day with a smile, ready for whatever it may bring. She keeps up with her active older siblings and drives her parents crazy. In other words, she is a typical 3-year old! Thank you for reminding me that life is meant to be embraced, not mourned, and that Maysa needs a grandma who can accept that her future may not be perfect, but hey... the trampoline is waiting!

I have CF and I always feel like I have no one to relate to and when I realized that you had it, it made me so excited!! I just wish we could meet and hang out and talk! But because CF sucks and infection sucks, we can't:( But seeing this channel makes me so happy that there are people that I can relate to and I feel less alone:)

Your video really does hit some vital spots. Might give a direction for thought to people like me who are in a mental loop trying to figure out what the fuck the point of their life is. I'm healthy, everything's fine and yet I'm unhappy and can't seem to figure out the reason. Great videos, keep 'em coming.

Hi Claire, I am a 6th grade middle school student that lives on an Air Force base, and I saw you in the Time Magazine today, so I looked up your channel on youtube when I got home. I would like to say that you're very inspirational, and you show that there are no excuses no matter what, and always enjoy and live your life. I'm a hockey goalie, and I face many difficult challenges (not even near yours) and I have overcome them due to you. You're a huge motivational speaker and I really look up to you. My mom (during the summer) works at a High School with the disabled, now, CF is not necessarily a DISORDER, but they still face challenges. They cannot do certain things such as you and I, to the point where there are some my mom knows that can't even speak, or cannot move our legs. I am very grateful to have inspirational people like you show the true meaning of life, and no matter WHAT always overcome it and love your life. That's 1 extra subscriber ;) peace -a fan

You are literally the bravest most amazing person ever- I have hypoglycaemia and I find it really difficult to deal with in everyday life- like I'd just spontaneously start feeling ill- maybe even collapse- and when I go to hospital to have treatments- it's so scary and even though I'm 14- it hurts and makes me worried and nervous and anxious- and then when I feel bad- most of the time the person next to me is 100 times worse of- and I look at them and I feel bad that I feel bad- I feel stupid and beaten. I'm in hospital right now watching this and it was beautiful- i just feel so inspired that your so open about what you're going through- and what's more impressive, is that I genuinely believe that your better than me at dealing with your disability- and that's what I need to learn from you. Your channel is a blessing- to me and probably to many others- please note that you are doing an amazing thing for many people- and I hope to see you continue- because I needed this, thank you xx

Though our life stories maybe very different I relate a lot to your videos, especially this one. Compared to me you have taken being sickly way better then I ever had, I shut my self off from the world and my friends. I always saw my inpatient stays as horrible experiences but your videos made me come to realize it wasn't all that bad. I had multiple illnesses mostly surrounding my brain for 3 and a half years, but now I'm getting better even though its a slow process. Thank you for sharing this.

All my friends are in college or finishing college. But all I care about is living for now and waking up the next day. I have had three friends who died of almost the same diseases as me. It's hard! You are so absolutely beautiful and I mean that you are beautiful on the inside, and it translates to the outside. You can teach so many amazing things to anyone and make it interesting to watch, and every single video I watch gives me feels and hopes I can translate your experiance from bring sick to my mother. my mother doesn't have cf but she had stage 3 colon cancer. she's went through chemo and is all better, but she still is tired and feels sick.
