8 years later and I still LOVE to use my NEON. So good, so perfect, so small .. even with those BIG DJ gear, this one always comes with me during gigs.
I have been looking into upgrading my controller since it has been giving me some problems... and lately I've also been considering getting something like a neon and a Mixars DUO. I have a Reloop controller and LOVE using the encoder for looping functions on the fly, and am working with my saved loops on the pads. I wish more controllers had the encoder for loops and not just the pads or buttons..... I also use FX very little aside from filter and some echo when I cut out a track, and then drop in a new track in a different key or tempo. ... after watching this video I think a Neon would be a great tool for my workflow, and the sampler controls are sweet... thanks for the videos...
would be cool to echo out with just pressing once the pad and it will fade out to scratch in the next track, so i do it with shift , and u have to be careful to just press a little and shift in (not easy to do) , and what i recognized is that , when i shift the echo i cant fade it out with the fader manualy, it just keeps up the volume ( even when my crossfader is all to the next deck) until i press the effect buttn again and it turns off to fast if you know what i mean, sorry for my bad english ^^ but is there any option ? thanks and very great review < 3
ok, im switching to cdjs coming from controllers. Been using cdjs for a while...i always have dj drops, my effects etc etc....is it possible to hook these up to cdjs and do the same thing ?
Just got one of these and it lights up when you plug it in but then none of the pads light up or the loop and track scroll buttons work ,the deck buttons on the left do as do the buttons on top to change between slicer and hotloops, any ideas or just send it back
DJcityTV do you know any way to count your bpm (some kind of bpm counter hardware) from your vinyl while your djing. I don't know all the bpm speed out of my thumb and I always forget how much bpm certain songs are
I was interested but I don't like that it does not have the knobs for the effects. I'll have to wait to see if anything else comes out. I want something that the pads have color not just blue.
I got the Reloop Neon. I am have hard time getting thing right on it. For example hot clue I have some track got clue point sat all ride when I hit the button it not moving. I am using SL1. It pick up on it that I Reloop Neon. Do have get Sl2 To make work better. Please late me know
OutNAbout415 it sucks that the sp1 hot cues isn't color coded. especially for someone like me who uses colors to know wether it's a beat loop or acap , intro, down beat , hype, ect
