I bought mine in Canada about 4 to 6 yrs now, still works like new. I put jug on top rack of dishwasher, it comes out completely fine. I own a lot of small kitchen appliances and I like keeping them looking like brand new so not everything goes in dishwasher like ka blender or breville sous chef food processor.
I like to use canned coconut milk with my coffee. It's thicker than the cartons of almond milk or coconut milk but without additives and less sweet. My question is, do you think the whisk will still spin with something more viscous than regular milk?
I bought this frother a couple of years ago. It didn't froth very well at all and the heating disc, which is what you'd use to make hot chocolate, took more then 10 minutes to heat completely and squealed loudly like nails on a chalkboard. This was a brand new unit! I ended up returning it for a refund. I think there is some serious quality control issues with this model. Very disappointing. ☹
