Ive had a Timex watch for 9 years now, never once gone wrong or broken, and the brown leather strap looks like new still. They are so affordable and look more expensive than they are.

If they had this in an automatic, even with a basic say, seiko 5 7S26 type movement, I'd buy like 5 of them. I'll probably still pick this up, but i really like automatics. Just wish there were more budget field style automatic chronographs.

I recently just bought mine exactly the same. I am a runner so I have a ton of running watches so I had to buy a real so I got this one and it's my school/ "Going out" watch and I love it. #NoRagart

I bought this last year and initially liked it. However I was really disappointed that about 2 weeks after arriving the chronograph minute hand refused to reset to zero, rather about the 7 minute mark. This makes the chronograph difficult to use accurately as I intended and needed. No matter how much I let the chronograph run and reset it just refuses to reset correct. Hopefully mine is just a rare defective unit, but is still makes the watch useless for me.

If you pull out the crown and push down the top chronograph button you will be able to reset the chronograph function. You can do the same with the small dial by pushing the bottom chronograph button.

Is that a Steel case or plastic case?

It’s a brass case. They have it listed as brass on Timex’s website.

I ordered this watch with the tan nylon band. I'm not sure why someone would want a waterproof watch with a leather (non-waterproof) band? I wouldn't want to swim with the leather band.

My chronograph died after about 10 days. And I baby the thing! POS watch, which I didn't expect from Timex. Made pretty but very unreliable. They've lost me as a customer. Their old slogan no longer rings true.

useless? it is for emergency if there is a sudden blackout!!! and you really want to know the time then sudden blackout happen and you are holding something and not be able to press the indiglo feature! it is a Big plus and better than nothing kid!!! this is very ignorat and immature review.

Amateur video. This pains me to watch. I skimmed the whole video so I'm not entirely sure, but did you even actually run the chronograph once? Once? What kind of review is this?
