You neglected to mention that a downside for some people to the least expensive cabins is you need to walk down a flight of steps. No elevator access. The good news is that it’s a beautiful and easy 14 steps and you could use the elevator that only goes between levels 2 and 3. Milk

I find cruise ships fascinating! It’s amazing all the facilities they have on them. I get bad sea sickness so won’t ever go on a cruise but I can appreciate them from your views. Super cool ships! Thanks for sharing x

I do enjoy watching the different ships. I came across a weird video on TT the other day that I wished I had saved now. It was a wreckers yard for cruise ships! I couldn’t believe how young some of the ships were that they were scrapped. What’s the life span of a lot of the ships you travel on?
Opinion: other reviewers have a diffetent opinion on the basic room than you. The common complaint is that since you are below the water level, it is noisier than above water rooms, especially as you go through the locks late at night. Any thoights?
You can hear the water splashing sometimes but honestly we thought it was the water ballasts. It almost becomes white noise. It didn’t bother us or keep us awake. Generally we weren’t in the room often except to sleep and shower etc.
@@LuxuryTravelDocs can you comment on the risk of motion sickness for the river cruise? I would think on a river and having a boat as long as these ones the motion would be almost not be noticeable?
I purchased the AirFly Pro transmitter, do we each need one? Or will we both be able to hear the tour guide using one transmitter as long as we are within range of each other? Thanks for your video! We booked the French Balcony and our Viking agent talked us out of upgrading to the Balcony room. We are going in November, so I don't know how much we would use the balcony - BUT, I am slightly claustrophobic so the window will be important.
If you bought the pro, each of you should be able to pair your own set of headphones simultaneously. That’s what we do! You can’t do it with the basic airfly, only the pro or the duo. We have the pro. Have fun!!!!
Poor wifi and no BBC? Oh no, it would be a huge letdown. Maybe because of the region where the cruise is located. But still, poor wifi? Boo 😖 I need that Downy wrinkle release!! Why is that not in the Philippines? 🤭
