Nice review! The simplicity and accessibility is well done. Doesn't look quite like a winning formula just yet, but it's nice to have new TF stuff nevertheless.
I'm a little confused where the game is here? You make a deck with 30 strength but what do you do after scanning the first card in PvP, just sit back and watch? If that's the case it's a big pass from me and something to further make me sad that WotC binned of the trading card game during the pandemic :(
I guess the gameplay is kinda from upgrading the characters and such and then selecting the best team possible, but yeah, the action itself is basically an animation based on the stats
I started collecting them on Thursday as I wasn't going to as all my local games had sold out very fast of the large packs. I recently thought "eff it I'll buy some starter packs and boosters. I bought a starter pack on Thursday and 6 today with 10 booster packs. I now need 11 cards to complete the set and 1 is the Megatron that you see in the window of them bigger packs. Will be hard getting the final 11 cards as they are all harder to get by the looks of it. Thanks for the help explained it all
Very mixed cause while the tech is cool it's kinda it, i worry that the gameplay being so simple will lead to this game quickly dying from the inability to expand to tournaments
@@SixoTF I don't want my comment to discourage, I'm just worried this game isn't going to last personally I think they should try to expand into other IPS as a way to continue getting more people into the game
@@SixoTFPerhaps the most enjoyable part is playing with children? I think this is more like a parent-child game than just for adults. I can imagine the surprised expression on my children's faces when they see those Transformers fighting on the cards.
