Is it better to get the smart lock on the handle or the smart lock on the deadbolt for an exterior door? If we get it on the smart lock on handle, we would still get a deadbolt. We want two locks. Which is better?
Months ago I emailed Eufy to see if they were planning on integrating a door knob/handle into their lineup since they have the door lock. It's something you would think they would have already been trying to produce since I don't find it practical to use my phone to unlock my top lock only to pull my keys out to unlock the bottom one. If I'm going to use my phone or another smart device to unlock my door I don't want it only half way unlocked since that defeats the purpose of automation.
Pare, good video. I wonder why they dont allow the auto lock feature to be turned off. Do you know if the other Lever locks allow you to turn it off from Ultraloq ?
latch type can't be jimmied if installed properly. If you press in the little piece at the top it locks in place and that piece should be pressed in when the door is closed.
I think a lot of people will not buy this lock do to the inability to manually lock it from the inside. The rest will bring it back when they realize they can’t lock it from the inside.
It's almost seem like a really good option for my home office... That one missing feature of being able to immediately lock it on the other side though or unlock it manually is a small bummer but probably not a deal breaker.
My front door smart lock I installed at the end of 2019 is still using the batteries that were included in the box... But it uses ZWave, so less power hungry than wifi smart locks.
@@pepeshopping - And if it’s 11 months do your u still want to know? Battery life isn’t going to be the same for everyone sense some go in and out more often. Same goes of installed on a back door verses a front door. And of course the types and brands of batteries will effect how long they last. Thank You and Cheers to you.
True…it should have rechargeable batteries..but we will how long it will last..I need to place the backup keys outside the office though..just in case..
Garbage tbh the battery dies and you need keys! I had one for a home door they last ok but not forever they start to break down and stop locking. You have to go to the other side to unlock it so hope you have a window.
I mean if you don't care about if the lock you put on your door doesn't have a major security flaw then why bother with locks, just use a fake lock. It would probably provide even more protection since appearance if all you care about.
@@Bremend the point being is that we don't need to have every lock review on youtube being spammed with the same "LPL will hack this in 10 mins". It's cringe and adds nothing
Look at all these "we" comments. AS IF you speak for everyone else. I frankly don't care about your opinion. You and the lock picking lawyer...what a weird hill for you to make a stand on. 🤣
