I own a pair of basic 2 Pedals without LED Covers, just extra soft rubbers, since over 6 months. I'm delighted of them, had no issue what so ever either install or use-wise. I love them so much 2 of my teammates upgrades from V3s to Venyms because of me, and they confirm my opinion 😂
I'm a fan of the Black finish and LEDs on the pedals for the Veynm pedals which is why I have configured these to my upcoming first PC rig. Although most reviews I've seen online have pointed the the Ultimates being a much better investment. If only the Ultimates had a Team RedLine edition so they have a black finish too
well, i've seen black ultimates around, people say they are very good too but i'm not too keen on 1:1 replicas... if you dont mind you could do some research
Thank you so much once again for this review Will, come from v3, then Heusinkveld and now the Venym Atrax and I have to admit I prefer the venym when I drive.. but it depends maybe of each one. Btw, I've never had that problem with the throttle etc.
Not on the market for a new set of pedals but if I was, these would not even be a consideration. Especially after seeing this review. Carbon set is a gimmick. As are the LED strips; what benefit does an LED offer. Overall quality of both sets seems questionable. Great stuff Will.
Remove all of those gimmicks and you get pedals with adjustability and drivability of HE Ultimates at lower price. I guess I was lucky, but i had no issues woth throttle as Will had in the beginning
1st, thanks for the review and your hard work. 2nd if I saw your review before buying, I never would buy those. But I did before your review, and glad I did. I have the aluminium version and I love them. Most of the issues mentioned are not an issue for those that want to set up once and forget. I got my pedals waaay before you did yours for review, and I didnt have any issues with the throttle at all. Its really sad tho, as it does undermine the companys quality control a lot. The whole carbon fiber fiasco is crazy.
I really likes this review. Like you I bought those quite some time ago and I don’t remember any of those issues (except for the mounting part). I went to check my pedals as soon as a finished this video (the throttle spring is a big issue) and I couldn’t provoke a situation where the spring would come out even by pulling on the pedal as hard as I could. There is no point of contact between the cover and the pedals anywhere. It seems they changed the design and it was for the worse. With this review out I wouldn’t recommend those right now.
Agree with you, same on my side I didnt have any issues with the throttle at all, it clearly undermining the company quality when this is not the reality.
Another great review guys - have you tested the Imsim Talento pedal set yet? I & your followers would be very interested in your opinion / review - have a great day
Hows the rapid rise of your channel ! I joined you a few months into covid like alot of people did I'm sure. Nearly 250k . Congrats 👏. Also timing sometimes is everything. If you ever watched the garth brooks documentary on netflix , he explains how all the music record companies turned him down. He happened to be playing at a pub gig where a guy who was going to have record labels watch this guy didn't show up and they put garth brooks in his place and the guys that turned him down earlier that day were blown away by his live performance and they signed him straight away. My point is , covid kinda gave you a massive hand as you'd be aware. You had to put yourself in the position to be there but sometimes things happen that are a blessing. I kinda went away from your vids based on how long they are. But still tune in for possible gear vids if the day comes that I can even get involved in sim racing. 🤣. Gotta have dreams right 😁. Congrats again and you deserve it, great vids 👏
For all the flaws and rough edges in these pedals, my only thought is do the FIA even vet the products they licence, or do they simply hand them out to whoever is willing to pay for some stickers?
Love every review you post! I recently saw a gaming tactic bass vest Woojer which I am very interested how it feels on the sim rig. I only see reviews of it with shooting games and I haven’t seen anything with driving. Can you consider making a review of Woojer?
You can also order the levers and faces with the classical aluminium covers, if you don't want the carbon covers And on mines the throttle throw is much more like the carbon one so it maybe a one-off problem
Man I was going to buy these 2 months ago and finally went with sprints and boy am I happy I did. At that time reviews were so positive I'm guessing channels were getting free pedals. Thanks for keeping things real. They need to ramp up quality its un acceptable having these issues for what they are asking.
Honestly, I had no problems with the pedal as mentioned in the video, I have many friends also with the venym and they have no problems. I come from the Heusinkvled and what I can say is that the Venym is better from my point of view.
Safe to say the pedal market is now saturated? At this point, really only interested in new advancements and technologies such as Simucube FFB pedals via servo motor. The CF here definitely look great though and as you stated this throttle here looks to be one of the very best. Coming from a Simtrecs Pro GT owner, my complaint with those is that the throttle is just uniform throughout the travel and doesn't offer a progressive feeling.
Just an odd question here. Which Alpinestars boots are those? Mine seem to have much thicker/harder sole than yours. Oh and I'm curious which elastomer and bar pressure you run your invictas with.
What is the best sim pedals for dirt oval racing, what I am looking for is the most modulation out of the throttle for maximum throttle control. I currently us the Fanatec V3's. I am not to tech savy on this stuff any help is much appreciated.
Too much money for what they are. And on top of that, it seems the quality control is absent. For that much money there had better not be any rubbing or defects what so ever.
just considering to buy these or the Asetek Forte (as 2 pedal-set), but don't see why I need to pay additional 200€ for the Venyms as they don't have the base-plate included. Do you think it's worth the difference @Boosted Media ? Thanks so much! :)
If money was not a concern what pedals would you recommend i get? Ive just finished my triple g7 set up with a dell i9 12k and rtx 3090 I have the DD1 and was looking to upgrade my pedals. Your input is greatly appreciated. love the videos
I absolutely love the Asetek Invicta pedals and run them on my daily driver, but they aren’t suitable for everyone. Out of everything I’ve tested, the best all rounders with the highest build quality are the Heusinkveld Ultimate+ in my opinion.
@@boostedmedia Thank you for the quick response. I live in Canada is there an online store or a link you would recommend to order these that can help you out?
Thanks a lot for the support. Here’s the li k to our full review which has an affiliate link for Digital Motorsports. boostedmedia.net/sim-racing/review-heusinkveld-ultimate-sim-racing-pedals/
@@gregogilvie8888 Check out the Imsim Talento pedals they are right up there with the HE ultimate + but a little cheaper. I have recently added them to my rig - they are well worth the money. 👌
@@matteostopiglia1671which did your go for? And do you mind what the price was. If you're in Australia? I'm seriously considering the load cell set clutch brake accelerator. And yes a review would be nice.
I need help and can't find any clue on it.... Does anyone know how can i connect my F-Pro (from cube controls) to my SC2Pro wirelles? Wheel searching mode on the wheel can be activated and the blue light is beeping but simucube software is not detecting anything...
I ordered them because for same price as the sprints I can get higher brake force… brake force and lack of play in pedals were the selling point for me… everything else he talked about doesn’t bother me
That’s why I said it depends entirely on your preference. I think the CSL Elite V2s are the best value peals on the market currently. Out of the pedals we’ve tested anyway.
Looks like a complete rip off of Heusinkveld in the mechanics of the pedal function, only done more poorly to maximize profit. Nice steel covers to try and make them look less like Heusinkveld pedals. LOL
Pffft.... Add on here add on there.. At those prices. You'd expect some of those add ons to included in the base price.. Sounds like a company milking you for all you've got.. Edit: now I've watched the video. What hot garbage they are.. My statement still stands "just a company looking to milk you for all you've got"....
