I got the new Rx3 plus or whatever its called and I HATE them, these look like they have much more padding to wrap around the knee. the new ones are very narrow. they feel amazing on the drop straight down, but any time I want to BF slide , it felt like my knee was falling out the guard. They stayed in place np so it wasnt the knee guard like too loose to moving , my knee was pushing out the padding because its not wide enough now. Guess I have to stick with my falling apart 1x pads. The new warrior's are the most flexible and comfortable tho, ill give them that, just needs like 1-2 inches more padding on the inside of knee area
My iusse with those. They just dont fit my fat long legs. The elastic band that connects the two halfs is too short. Need velcro tabs that connect to that jen pro and tape to keep them up.
Hi Trevor, no the elastic on top of the knee is never an issue. It really helps keep it in the right spot. If I upgrade knee guards I’m going to try the new pro warriors.
I have these and like them a lot, but recently my knee has been taking a beating from the constant dropping down and getting up. My knee is all bruised and I’m not sure what to do about it.
I think these knee pads have a life span. I recently bought a new set as the foam in this set was starting to pancake. How long have you been using your set?
Have you had any issues with the bottom slipping out of position from the top. My son really likes these but says the bottom is slipping out when he goes down and it's bothersome and he has to put them back in place when play stops. He wears them over his socks...thinking maybe wearing them under fixes it but he doesn't like that feel....thoughts?
Hi Rich, if your son does not like the feel, I’d suggest he wear long dry fit underwear to cut down on any friction from the knee guards or pads. Secondly, I wear mine under my socks and tape them above and below the knees to ensure they stay put. The socks I also find slide better in the knee cradle of my pads. I strongly encourage using hockey tape over the socks. This should greatly reduce the bottom slipping out.
@@goalieczar-adamcooper6900 Thanks I think we'll try that. Apparently what is happening is the bottom part is popping out of place when he goes into the butterfly. I think shortening the strap between the two pieces will correct it as well but haven't figured out how to do that yet. Going to try these ideas as well. Thanks!
