As soon as I saw that you could switch out the barrel and the spring, I thought to myself "Man, I just know Coop is gonna do tests with all 4 combinations of barrel and spring, just for the sake of knowing all the data." And you didn't disappoint.
I mean, the Swift comes with 2 spring/barrel combos (1.2/280mm & 1.4/360mm), but there's a THIRD combo (1.6 spring and 550mm barrel, approx. 290fps) that's an optional extra to upgrade to.
It’s so cool looking back and remembering that Worker was just a small little company in Asia that made cool parts kits and such, but now they make their own blasters
They've released blasters in the past, there are some reviews on Coop's channel about them. However, this looks like a Dartzone Pro blaster, which is very good! Previous ones didn't really have an amazing aesthetic design, and were more functional with clear shells.
I am aware of the prophecy, swordfish and Phoenix however those are geared towards a modder’s market. The swift is ready to go out of the box without requiring a lipo or a complicated assembly process and that’s more what I’m happy about
Woah, VERY sudden video. Wasn't expecting a Coop review on a non-Saturday. The Swift is a glorious introduction to ultrastock performance without needing to mod all too much. It's just sad that a 200-dollar blaster needs additional kits and hardware to get past Caliburn-esque performance and be less fragile. Edit: would love to see you do a video on SCAR barrels at some point (the string-filled rifled barrel extension). They put spin on the dart, compensating a bit of FPS for better accuracy. Definitely an interesting attachment on Worker or 3D-printed blasters.
ive had my swift for just over a week. i bought the 550mm barrel and 1.6 spring, and with some light mods to the seals im easily pushing well over 320fps. this thing is so strong. and i chose it over a caliburn due to it being injection molded plastic rather than 3d printed. anyone looking to be the "sniper" role in their battles, 100% go for it. ive seen some do 400fps+
Finally Coop got the Swift I thought he was going to be the first one, but no problem the thing that hated about the swift was dart gate it was very thin plastic it cracks but few weeks later worker came out with metal dart gate, next one was upgraded longer barrel 550mm and 1.6 spring I got around 300fps next spring was 1.8 was hitting 350 to 370fps
Worker started off as just parts kits and shells/conversion kits. And now they're really stepping up their game making their own blasters from the bottom up
@@iateshampoo8692 I don’t remember it being in that game, but I could be wrong. Believe me I would have said Titanfall instead if I knew Edit: it’s only in apex
Thanks again for the review. If you were to get a suction cup target board to throw up on your door, I think you could make testing a little bit more interesting for yourself, without detracting from the floam flinger being tested. Keep it up, I can live vicariously through you and not go broke buying them all.
I tried one of these at a local nerf war. I shot it right into my hand to see how hard it hit. It hurt! Do not use at close range! This thing is a long range monster. Ive been tagged by it clear across a field at a public park
Hey Coop! When you were talking about the pump grip, you said it feels like skateboard griptape. Do you skate? I know that isn’t the only way to know what it feels like, maybe someone you know skates. But that question just popped into my head when you described the texture like that.
relating to the retailer you recommended..thank you thank you thank you for recommending out of darts. I was able to buy magazine shims for my rival magazines..I cant wait to use them with my pathfinder ^^
At last, after he reviewed the Worker Swordfish, I was expecting to review Worker brand blasters like every else did, and he somehow listened to my imaginary request!
Hey coop, i think it would be better if you switched to 60fps on firing demos, the darts are quite hard to see especially with a hard hitting blaster. Great vid as always though!
I've owned one of these for a few months now and best combo is 1.6 spring with the 550mm barrel, gives you around a 270fps average (order these separately as they do not come with the blaster) The prime is a little hard but very doable. I also have the 1.8 spring and it gets you 330+ but the prime is ridiculous and I did notice a little damage after about 20 rounds, I dont use the 1.8 spring anymore. I would highly recommend a metal dart gate upgrade (order it the same time you get the swift) because the stock dart gate is plastic and easy to crack. Using the 1.6 spring, I would also recommend the priming bar, makes life easier if Using all day. With the metal dart gate, prime bar, 1.6 spring and 550mm barrel its about an extra $50ish on top
You need a Swin upgrade. Swin also sells the whole Swift with with upgrade in. I have not get the upgrades myself but the aluminium barrel, PT, dartgate, trigger and a delrin×carbon plunger looks promising.
@@kinsleydu just looked up that kit and it dose look good and I actually wouldn't mind a lighter plunger. But the 1.8 just isn't worth it, the plastic molding the holds the spring screw/bolt, just isn't strong enough and the prime is hard. Ok for a few shots but that's all, even the 1.6 spring after an hr is enough.
Would love to see a flywheel blaster based on a form factor like this. we have the swordfish from worker and others why dont we have a longer larger blaster? i mean springers can get more power than flywheels but i mean come on. its cool still.
I watch for the blasters. I think he used to have a better on screen personality years ago but he's the only one doing good reviews so supply and demand I suppose
Just when i think "Coop should finally start reviewing blasters for grown ups on a regular bases, how is he able to feed himself from reviewing elite 2.0 and other nerf brand blasters once a week?" BTW a video outside or on a range comparing short dart blasters with SCAR and BCAR muzzle attachements would be a fresh spice after all these recent years with redundant reviews in front of a black background. go dude!!! ;-*
It reminds me of a guess rifle. Shooting a small object as such high speeds. Nerf guns with half legenths darts usually give a dumb pistol carbine feel but this is guess rifle.
The one thing I'll say about this blaster is that holding it up to look through the sights or a scope can be quite loud, especially with the stronger springs! If you plan on holding it up to your face, make sure you're ready for a loud noise!
there is an even longer barrel and 2 stronger spring options that can boost the Swift to 275 to 340fps respectively. The Swift is like an AK47, you can abuse it and it still fires. Mine even has broken nose piece but I still can use it regularly
