Glad you liked it. I've been abroad for years now, and I'm not one of those Brits that would brazenly claim UK food is the best in the world. But I would definitely put an English breakfast is one of the best meals in the world. Maybe there is some cultural bias in that I'm unaware of but I could probably eat it every day.
Holy shit I know this place! Used to be called Coco's and I used to go there when I was a student at the Uni right nearby. Always good to get some excellent food for a great price every once in a while. Glad they are still around and service great food! Used to get a chicken and pesto panni every time cos it was so great.
I will say hash brown isn’t classic, bubble and squeak is. You’re missing quite a few ingredients there like mushrooms, tomatoes and black pudding. There’s a place called E.Peccilis in east London that you must go to on your next trip here!
The good thing about a FEB is that even the bog-standard ones are great. Upping the quality of the ingredients (especially the meats), though, can take it to a whole new level.
Standard at best. Missing loads of items to be a full English breakfast. Looked good for a basic breakfast tbh but would never be in running to represent 😉👌
Thats amazing price for London!! Id add some brown toast, put fried egg on top, and get toast, egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown with ketchup in a single bite. Then 2nd toast repeat, but with beans. Mushrooms would be nice too
Those has browns are just shite you get from food supplier half the country uses them. Making them is prep heavy if you are just a tiny little cafe but things like that are what seperates a good english breakfast from a standard one
