I absolutely love the live at the BBC Beatles albums. I play them quite often actually. And if someone said to me, what was your favorite photo ever taken of the Beatles? I would have to say the cover of that album.💁🏻‍♀️

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 8. Rock and Roll 9. The Man From Utopia ( Jazz Discharge Party Hats is one of the funniest songs ever, also i like hearing you say “thing-fish” i don’t know why) 10. Zuma 11. Never Let Me Down Looking forward to hearing that Nektar album soon

Some great selections. “Houses of the Holy” would have been my #1 choice followed closely by The Stones…..Emotional Rescue such an overlooked album, as you were saying, Larry. Also Sabbath and CSN and Velvet Underground album would have been my top 5. Cheers ✌️

I only know half of those. My favourites in order are: Sabbath Bloody Sabbath The Velvet Underground Houses of the Holy Place Without a Postcard Beatles Live at the BBC 2 Emotional Rescue Queen Never Let Me Down Rock and Roll Man from Utopia

Off topic but: RIP Françoise Hardy. The great woman of chanson of the 60s died with 80 years after a fight with cancer where she couldn't sing in her last years. Besides her early beat music that made her popular and part of the yéyé-girl scene she was an style icon of her time, admired by Bob Dylan who sended her hopeless love letters and refused to continue the concert if she won't talk to him backstage. Also admired by Mick Jagger and David Bowie, the Beatles met her aswell with Paul going to dinner with her when they played in Paris 1965. She also did a fine duet with the band Blur called "To The End (La Comedie)". Five of her best songs: 1. Tous les garçons et les filles (1962, her breakthrough hit with only 18 years in beat music style, the album was mostly written by her, a year before the Beatles relasted their first and only half self written album) 2. Le temps de l'amour (1962, got more popular with the Wes Anderson film Moonrise Kingdom and a modern remix) 3. Mon amie la rose (1964, slow and melancholic song) 4. Comment te dire adieu (1968, another great hit with good orchstration, an original english song redone by french master Serge Gainsbourg) 5. Message personnel (1973, a very mature and good song after her hype)

Hi Larry the John Lennon album I picked up cheap. I had always heard it wasn't that good, But I like it I always liked the original songs, and his versions are good to me. no Yoko is a bonus.

I like these rankings. A bit surprised by where Sparks ranked, but understandable when there's other great albums that are better than.

I only have two of those albums Larry,John Lennon's Rock and Roll which is a good album because of John Lennon's great voice but it's a little over produced,he should have done it with a small band live like the Beatles first album and it would have been great and the Beatles At The BBC LP which I actually have framed as a work of art and I also own on CD,a fun energetic album of the early Beatles. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is probably my favorite Sabbath album and I happen to love Sabbra Cadabra BUT, I think it drags out too long. The riff and the first few verses are great though. Sprial Architect would be my favorite with National Architect my least favorite. I think they kind of blew the last part of that song. Another thing I want to point out is that after Masters of Reality they began to produce their albums themselves which I fell hurt the quality of their albums. One of the reasons that Paranoid is such a masterpiece is the production, it's just a great sounding album. I don't think they ever quite equaled the sound on their self produced albums. They wrote some great songs but their sound was just a bit off. Houses of the Holy wasn't my favorite Zeppelin album as a kid but as an adult I've grown to appreciate it. It's more of a polished semi-pop sounding album rather than a true hard rock album. That being said songs like The Crunge, Rain Song, The Ocean and No Quarter are really great songs. Queen's debut album was one of my childhood favorites. Liar, The Night Comes Down, Doing Alright... love them songs. Even the Jesus song is great. Son and Daughter was a great heavy rocker.

Less good albums from many good artists, but Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is my favorite from Black Sabbath.

Larry you should rank the 50 greatest grunge list by rolling stone I know you like covering lists on this channel and I don’t think you done that one yet even though it might not be your favorite genre I would like a video on this topic please and thank you
