Ozzy is a godfather of heavy metal, whether in Black Sabbath or in his solo material. It's honestly insane how relevant he has remained over the course of the past couple of decades, and what kind of a legacy he will leave behind. Not much for me to talk about aside from the classic material up to No More Tears, but I'm grateful to my mom and dad for getting me into some good shit as a kid. I grew up on that, Scorpions, Kansas, AC/DC, Metallica/Megadeth, the whole nine yards. Blasting through some Hellhammer and Celtic Frost at the moment, Monotheist still remains one of my favorite albums and quite the brutal and disturbing listen.

The only real unforgivable thing Ozzy did was Hire a Dwarf that he named Ronnie to make fun of Ronnie James Dio during his time with Sabbath. Razorfist covered that story in his metal Mythos.

Best Ozzy album-Diary of a madman. Also,if you haven't heard of them, then check out Lord Belial-Path with endless horizons. The album"Enter the moonlight gate" by Lord Belial is one of the greatest Black Metal and Extreme Metal albums ever made. Masterpiece from start to finish. Btw Happy Spooky Month!!!!

Woah😳😳 was not expecting this video. But Ozzy in his Prime is great stuff, especially since even my Mom and Dad who are not into Metal at all love Bark at the Moon, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman and had all of those on CDs.

Great tunes man, that stuff was pretty much my introduction to heavy metal and hard rock. Hell, Ozzy Osbourne & Rob Zombie was probably the first full blown metal concert I ever went to, back in like 2008-ish. A very young In This Moment opened for them lmao.

@@themetalmeltdownofficial yeah Sabbath/Ozzy, Dio, Megadeth, Tool, Deftones, Death, Opeth, Iron Maiden played MASSIVE roles getting me into Metal. As much as I really like Metallica and Judas Priest their radio hits did not get me into Metal surprisingly at 1st.

Let us all acknowledge the real masterminds behind Ozzy solo is Lee Kershlake, Randy Rhoads and bass player Bob Daisley, (who wrote lyrics all of Ozzys solo material from 1980-1990)

As I am a big Black Sabbath fan with most of the eras I think Ozzy's solo career is mostly great and Diary of a Madman is my favourite, yet I do honestly think No More Tears is his last strong album. I do think that Dio's solo stuff is better than Ozzy's and I do love Ozzy but I don't think his solo material with a lot of his later stuff mark themselves as stand out as much as the earlier stuff.

Down to Earth was honestly one of Ozzy’s heaviest albums, thanks to Zack Wylde. Look past the autotune to help his singing and you have a shredder like Facing Hell and Junkie.

It seems like “ultimate sin” is enjoying almost a second life with younger generations who are discovering it for the first time. It’s always been one of my favorite Ozzy albums, but it was kind of looked at as a bottom tier Ozzy album by critics and original fans. Hell, they even put it out of print for a few years and you couldn’t even buy it.

When you ranked Ordinary Man higher than both Bark At the Moon and No Rest For The Wicked I actually had to check the the date on this video to make sure it wasn't an April Fool's prank. The only other explanation I have is that you're really just trolling us, and I must say you deserve at least a golf clap for that damn fine Hollywood worthy acting. Ordinary Man a 3.5, lol. Sadly I only like Blizzard, Diary and Bark. I HATE The Ultimate Sin with a passion and anything after that disgusts me almost as much. I can appreciate No More Tears even though I think the latter half of that album is quite s**t TBH. The first half kicks ass though! Ozzmosis and onwards makes me wanna puke. For me Ozzy can be placed in the category of "overrated artists". I would never go as far as to not acknowledge his musical influence. I mean... in the end he was the original vocalist in one of the best bands in music history. But when it comes to his solo career, I consider anything after No More Tears to be the result of corporate pressure. I listened to Ozzmosis a few days ago and I was astonished of how much I hated it. There were some good songs on it but the album as a whole filled my gut with a feel of disgust and unpleasantness. It didn't feel genuine but rather as a corporate attempt to cash in on Ozzy's name, and sadly I can say the same about all the albums that he released after Ozzmosis. Just the fact that most of those albums were written by outside songwriters shows which strings that are pulling Ozzy's solo career. Why does Sharon always have to hire the worst songwriters and worst producers in the world when it's time to release a new Ozzy album?! Not only are most of the songs s**t, but the albums are also so f*****g loud and distorted that it makes my ears eardrums shake every time. Ordinary Man for me is perhaps one of the most pointless and unnecessary albums ever released. The way I see it, there was no reason for that album to exist and it makes me sad that the industry fooled Ozzy once again. I have nothing against Ozzy. In fact I can admire him for his genuineness and humble personality, but the way his career has been constructed after Randy Rhoads died makes me both sad and pissed. That said, I can talk for hours about Blizzard, Diary and Bark. I love them so much and they complement each other so well, with Blizzard being the iconic one, Diary the mature (and for me the best) one and Bark the fun one!
