I really loved chasing fireflies, i don't understand the hate around this scent. Chasing Fireflies smells like an expensive, floral and yet a sweet perfume.

I agree with you on leaves. When i saw it was coming, i couldnt believe it. Who's terrible idea was this?! 😂 i don't want to smell like a craft store.

I jus have to say, I appreciate how real and authentic you are in your reviews. This is one of the main reasons why I subscribed to your channel. Please don't ever change ! Were all different and have selective taste in different things and that's ok. For the folks who can't handle that y'all can simply move around.

Let me just say this y'all...... I hate leaves, the candle, and the room spray. Hate it. But I am obsessed with the fragrance mist, lol!! I don't know what it is, ladies. I'm baffled. I sprayed it with Kilian Angel's Share. I love anything with spice in it. It's going to be perfect for fall and winter. It puts me in the mind of the room spray Applewood and Clove from last year. So Shaughnessy, I think you are right about the room spray thing. 😂

I love love love Together Weather and I also love Everlasting Magic. I felt Vampire Blood was super basic and just meh. I 1000% agree with you about Leaves. I have yet to smell the others. Great review! ✌🏾💙

I’m loving chasing fireflies. When you spray down and get that full scent cloud it’s sooo lovely.i def agree with your comparisons. Elements of each but no repackages.

Hated chasing fireflies literally smelled like bug spray to me but alien is one of my top fragrances. I agree about leavss though its super strong and smells like a room spray. I love together weather and all the halloween ones

Chasing Fireflies scent develops over time. It takes a long time for it to get to its final fragrance. I definitely smelled bug spray in the store. Then YSL/Fairytale vibes. But the final scent is heavenly!

I think chasing fireflies is definitely different and it is very nice. But Today I wore a cactus blossom in this miami heat, IDKY but I almost soaked out although it has a coconut based note.😢😅❤😅😢

If Together Weather smells like Cheirosa 40 without that hint of olives 🫒 I’m getting it! I only purchased 3 mists during the sale (Vampire Blood, Everlasting Magic & Black Cherry Merlot). A lot of the latest fragrance releases aren’t grabbing my attention, and the ones I like I already have (like fall in bloom, sensual Amber, pumpkin pecan waffles). I can’t wait until there’s a mini sale. Some aren’t full bottle worthy, but I wouldn’t mind having a mini of a few scents.

it felt like leaves punched me in the nose with that clove note when i smelled it so i left it there😭 everlasting magic smelled so musky and just eh in the cap but allll the sweetness comes through on my skin so i’m excited to layer it with my candy-like perfumes

Hey i really loved this part 1. Youre rght about some of the unisex scents like midnight spell and together weather. I dont love TW as much tho because im allergic to apples, but it's nice smelling and very diverse!

Definitely agree with you on Chasing Fireflies, it’s not a repackage of any of those fragrances, maybe similar but not the same 😀🙌

Immediately had to subscribe after watching the comparison of chasing fireflies 😅 Because you are SPOT ON! I had the same reaction after purchasing chasing fireflies. Everyone who said it was an exact repackage, definitely not lol It is not a repackage of any of those- but it has similarities, although not enough that I would ever mistake it for something else entirely.

I like leaves the candle. But I don’t want to smell like that at all! The same is happening to me with cactus blossom 🤷🏻‍♀️ I got the body mist and I haven’t worn it once because I don’t know… I don’t feel it

Yes, my first thought when I smelled Chasing Fireflies was it smelled like the dupe of Alien I have! I am very much so on the fence about Leaves as well!

Leaves makes me think of the holidays....I got the cream in it, and will probably wait till late fall to wear it! I agree on Vampire Blood; didn't think I'd like it, but I think it would 'layer' with a lot of other scents....

Chasing Fireflies in my opinion smells like one of the Dior fragrances. Maybe Blooming Bouquet.

Together weather smells like the watered down version of sol de janiero 40 so i skipped on that one. Id rather have the sol de janiero. Id maybe use the together weather body cream and shower gel but I can’t replace the sol de janiero mist with bbw.

I agree that leaves smells like home fragrance, but the leaves lotion pairs perfectly with Kilian Angel's Share. Boosy cinnamon apple pie is what it gives to my nose when paired together. Come the holidays it will be perfect.

I did not like chasing fireflies. Happy you did and I don’t think its similar to Fairytale (to my nose). ha ha I like together weather.

I also was looking for ghoul friend! Vampire Blood was cute and all but I wanted ghoul friend that was the only halloween candle that I repurchased! I liked all the halloween scents this year but the Midnight Spell and Everlasting Magic were my favorites. I think everyone says that don't like a scent so no one else will buy it because the midnight spell mist sold out quick.The one I got was the last one on the display. Leaves & Black Cherry Merlot both made me gagged, literally in store. I picked up every new scent except for those 2.

Definitely for me ; i skip fall n half winter fragrances. I can’t do anything either home or self care anything so i just will do some winter time but yes i see how many people are not totally loving these new scents. Fall for me will b to use more store brands like dove caress etc .

Great video. Leaves smells horribeeeeeee. I spelt it in stores twice and there’s no way I wanna smell like that lol. & I wouldn’t want it in a candle lol. I love gormand and tropical sweet scents. Heyy Shaughnessy, I really enjoyed the videos. I was wondering if you can do a video comparing bbw and sol de janerio Mist scents (dupe video). It can come in handy for persons who want to have a feel for the sdj Mists before investing in it (like you correctly said, they don't ever go on sale). It can come in handy for persons who might want to know which bbw scents to grab that gives the sdj vibes on a budget. And for persons like myself, it will be helpful for layering to stretch the life of these overpriced sdj mists😅

And yes I agree, chasing fireflies is not any of those scents. I've used all 3 a lot and I guess pure wonder would be the closest. They could have amped up pure wonder and made it stronger to be chasing fireflies who knows 😂

I feel the same about leaves 😆very strong clove scent. We use cloves in our cooking 🥘 don't get me wrong I love my spices in my food! But do I want that smell on me hell No lol other fall scents are very pretty this year !

Chasing fireflies does not smell like Fairytale or Dahlia to me. It's possible it could be a combination of both. When first sprayed the Jasmine is strong but the dry down is awesome! I purchased two because I was scared it would sell out!

Leaves is my favorite candle but I am not feeling the body care. It's a bit much for me but my husband likes it on me so when it gets a little colder I'm going to try and wear it out and see if I can pull it off lol

Leaves smells like "craft store" and I'm not gone be able to do it. They can keep it as home fragrance & body care. I'm digging together weather, everlasting magic & vampire blood in body care. I have the chasing fireflies ffm, but I might return it.

Everlasting magic has been my favorite. Together weather smells just like yara to me and I just bought a bottle of that. I would love it but maybe at sas. I agree abt leaves but I'm willing to give it another try when it gets cooler outside lol ain't no way I'm wearing that rn. I have a feeling it might give me a headache tho so idk I sprayed chasing fireflies perfume on my arm then went to the gym 😂 it made me sick & ill prob never want to smell it again.

I have about 85 mists that I have bought in blind buys. This time around I bought nine and out of those nine, I was looking forward to, Chasing Fireflys. I liked it from the cap, but one on my skin, I hated it; made me so sad. So back it goes. The other ones going back are Ivory Cashmere and Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte (which smelled masculine on my skin, go figure).

I agree, why not Ghoulfriend as abody care? Its a more complex spookier scent. I did get Vampire blood mist and i do enjoy it, ill wear it all year. No other new scents interested me. Im gonna hold off now on body care until i see what else comes out for fall

Im so on the fence about Chasing Fireflies! When my husband says "it's STRONG!" Thats code for he doesn't like it. But the more i smell it, the more it grows on me. I dunno! Lol!

I have the same issue with Leaves that I had with Coconut Candy Apple- they smell like the doorway of a Michael’s craft store in the fall. Which is a scent I like for the whole nostalgic back to school fall feeling, but I can’t enjoy it on my body.

I can’t with chasing fireflies. Its one of the worst scents they have ever made. Its smells like old lady and musty clothes. Its the first thing i will be returning in years!

Hope you had a great first day back to school Shaughnessy! We go back for training in a couple of weeks. It’s funny how everyone’s noses can be so different. I love Leaves. But I think it’s extremely powerful, so I would layer it with other things.
