I have the same bike as you. I think you should have made a video for installing the front bumper from the 1000 HL & winch. Make it a little bit of easier for us guys with the 850s
When you mounted the winch to the bumper did you need a bracket or did the winch bolt right into the holes in the bumper? Just got the 1000 bumper for my 2020 850 just need the winch now
I got the 2020. Had a twisted rear yolk from factory that eats ujoints, my front diff leaks. Starter already locked up, and I had problems with my plugs under water. Fun to ride. Not fun to fix
Hey man I have a 2020 850 highlifter , currently have a 2 inch bracket lift with 29.5 outlaws , you think I can clear 32.5 outlaws on the 2 inch lift ?
I have the 1000 highlifter and just ordered to 2in bracket lift for it and I couldn’t imagine clearing those, how in the world are you clearing those tires 😳
Nah you don’t need clutches until you get up to around 35s or larger. The HLs have a 40% gear reduction in high and low that allow them to spin bigger tires easily
@@rickmercs I’ve had mine for about a year now and and like every other ride makes a weird sound then stops and sounds fine after but its probably about to time for me to switch exhausts.
@@cadenmiller1968 I’ve heard the mounts fall apart real bad and the packing don’t last long at all. Could just be a few bad apples but never know. Might as well do a bit extra and get a RJWC. But I do love Big Guns sound though
@@rickmercs My mounts never fell apart, and it runs good, it’s just every now and then when it makes a weird sound like it wants to cut off but stays running at the same time, it’s a really weird sound but it’s fine after, But I think RJWC is the way to go
Yes. Twice actually. The first time I was able to clean it and it worked fine for a year. And just recently it went all the way out. I actually have a video of how to clean it and stuff that I’ll be posting soon
My High lifter used to sputter under water until I put some dielectric grease on the spark plugs and inside the boot and it runs great under water. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e8b1jfJ82hY.html link to my page if you wanna see it getting down.
Nah if you get some offset wheels you don’t have to. If you do the 2inch and keep the stocks wheels/tires you’ll have to because they’ll run your snorkel tube.
It does make a slight noise on the first part of starting but after that you shouldn’t hear anything. If you hear a constant clunking it could be your Ujoint or an axle popping
