Reviewing my AMG GT53 4 DOOR 2020 & WHY I'M SELLING IT!

Hey guys today I'm bringing you a review of me AMG GT53. I've driven this car a TON from the Philly into Toronto and back multiple times! Out of all the cars I have this has been my go to for the long drives!
Sadly however, after a WHOLE YEAR of ownership, due to reasons I go over in this and other videos I don't need the car anymore! It takes up space in my parking, and insurance is MAD for a 22 year old.

@@MrIndo-pt5fy exactly my point. I get it if you have someone else with you but why wear a mask alone in car by yourself. I’m an infectious disease doctor so I’m all about the safety of others and hate to see viruses spread out of pure carelessness but I just didn’t understand the added value of wearing a mask when you’re totally alone. Anyways, to each his own.

I have a E53, I have the windshield water…. Every car has that. Furthermore, u can turn the high beams on, or leave them on auto or off. To leave them on, you have the rotate the dial on the left to the lights mode and push the indicator stock back to keep them on. If you leave the dial on the left in auto, the high beams won’t stay on.

I bought a new GT53 almost 2 years ago and I love it. Perfect for comfort and sport. Sound could be a bit louder but in all it's a solid car.

@@nicksoccer0727 well I live in europe and there is no big difference tbh. my gt53 has over 15k km and I think the opf „burned“ a bit and I hear my car louder than when it was new

It’s very reliable, however, I went through 4 tires in 8 months and a cracked rim. I would say it’s a delicate car, so if you live in a city with a lot of bad roads, I wouldn’t recommend. It’s a pretty big car but it’s small on the inside, I’m 6’7 so that is a huge problem for me. There is very limited storage in the car and the wireless charger is in the worst place possible, inside the center arm rest, so if you want to use it, you can’t store anything in it. Also mine, 2021, there is no wireless CarPlay

I bought mine April 2021. I hate the AC. It’s weird. The phone charger in the center console , sometimes has a hard time charging because of the case. Besides that , I love it.

Totally agree on that phone charge behind the center console it's hard to reach and way too small for a samsung note (especially with a case on it)

@@MichaelxMarquisOfficial oil change every 10k miles. 9qts synthetic , $200. AC isn’t the best. Not the quietest interior I would say. Runs great. 26-28 mpg s on the highway. That’s at 80-100 mph. I drive my car on getaways with the fam when we travel far.

Gorgeous interior, but 971, 972 Porsche Panamera's have gorgeous interiors as well. Panameras also have a more of an upscale unique presence. The Mercedes does look mean tho. You didn't mention anything useful like how many miles, maintenance issues, costs..etc..

Hey man....are you sure you weren't turning off the traction control and then getting wheelspin in the wet??? I think you turned off traction control. Also…..there is windshield wiper fluid. Press the button on the end of wiper controls stalk in.

I do notice that @9:28 you have the traction control turned off, just in-case you didn't notice. Also, that car has the washer fluid that emits from the windshield wipers themselves. So maybe yours were malfunctioning or something...

You're right but that clip and the driving view were done on different days, rainy time though that NEEDS to be on 😆 lol.i didn't notice if the fluid was built into the wipers, but my local dealership Mercedes benz of Princeton had no answers ....

Yeh not so great power but if you're not into the felon driving behavior it has all the luxuries of the upper trims without the added sounds/power. It is a big and heavy car so you'll probably feel that too - but I haven't heard the AMG trim personally.

Biggest thing that stopped me from buying gt53 was the fact that E53 is a lot cheaper and its essentially exact same car, and the other thing is that E63S was priced same as GT53 but it gets the V8 and all the good AMG stuff

My rims are stock 20-inch AMG multispoke rims - the only change made was that a blackout strip was added all around them to de-chrome that bezel that's on the stock rims and the silver around the wheel-cap was blacked out - so just aesthetic changes to the stock rims.
