I just realized you missed a DLC from Jurassic World Evolution 1, but I know the reason for that: It's the Vivid Ankylosaurus DLC. The DLC included... a single Ankylosaurus skin (the Vivid skin). And the worst part: you literally had to pay 35 dollars just to get the DLC because it was only included in a bundle with other Frontier games! And you can't even get it nowadays. For me, this has to be the worst "DLC" for the JWE franchise, period.

I love how you instantly backtracked on putting the Cretaceous Predator Pack in B 😂 Like yes, I get it, the game doesn't "need" more dinosaurs, but God dammit that Utahraptor is the first dinosaur in Evolution's history that had me like "It's perfect, 10/10, no notes"

I completely disagree with the Dr. Wu Expansion ranking. 1. It integrates neatly into main campaign. 2. The gene mods (stress, social, environmetal needs) and the extra Tech tier are abolutely essential, to enjoy the game. I would not recomment, to play the game without it. It makes the handling of carnivores so much easier. And it opens the gate for enclosure/species combinations, that were impossible before the expansion was released. Admitteldly, not everybody loves JWE1's camapign & progression system, but that expansion is a game changer.

I’m so ready for jwe3 I hope they drop more animals Mammuthus primigenius or even Giant ground sloth and need more trassic creatures

Wow, going back to the DLC packs from the first game really reminded me of just how much it changed over its lifespan....

It's been a crazy ride playing and practically growing up with both Evolution games, buying all the DLCs (except JWE1's hybrid pack) and seeing the games *evolve* into their respective full potential. Loved every bit of it, blemishes and all. 🥰 Although I'm uncertain about what my feelings are for a JWE3, I wish the best of luck in this game series to continue being successful and improving.

The Cretaceous Dino pack from the first game is easily an S to me. It had one of my favorite herbivores in iguanadon because of the Disney dinosaur movie. I absolutely loved the sounds of the other 2. I know it may be weird, but that was one of my favorite dlc packs ever

Just finished watching through all your species showcases for the JWE2 dlcs after buying them all on the steam summersale. Will you do a updated Dinosaur ranking or a sandbox build with all species at some point? Thanks for all the great content and entertaining videos!

CC Pack might be the worst that isn't literally repackaged content. The variants were glorified skins with no patterns for nearly a year, you get 2 creatures, one is pretty but also just a bigger proceratosaurus, the other is a hybrid which many people are not going to like; and then a bunch of skins, for 12$ state side! And none of the attractions people were actually clamoring for in the pack! And the creatures they missed out on by shipping the thing early or in one case just held off randomly for 2 years had to be put in other packs!

Are you going to do a final ranking of all the species bow that you have had time with the last pack to let them maybe settle into their actual final spot, with vareints counting as their own separate species (giga, Ourano, stego etc)

its difficult for me to rank any of the packs over the expansions due to how much was added in the expansions but im glad to see 99.9% of people agree how amazing the Dominion Expansion was, Therizinosaurus my beloved wouldve been the only reason i got it if it werent for the invisible fences, although i couldn’t give two shits about the giga even after she got all her skins

Good news, the Mid Cretaceous isn't a thing!!! For some reason despite being the longest Mesozoic period the Cretaceous is divided into early and late while the Triassic and Jurassic are divided into early, mid and late. So no Mid Cretaceous Pack🎉!!!

For JWE3 the final ingen species we need are Peloroplites (remains on Nublar in fallen kingdom) Teratophoneus (remains on Nublar in fallen kingdom) Coelurus (confirmed to exist at JW on DPG website) Lesothosaurus (confirmed to exist at JW on DPG website) We could also have the 1997 variants for pteranodon and Mammenchisaurus I would also like to have more up to date models such as the CC ceratosaurus rather than the current JWE2 ceratosaurus

I really feel like the only dlc im not going to get is secret species because of how much they swinged an missed with it like not giving ankylodocus a defense, not giving stegoceratops a good kill animation(same with spinoceratops as well) but the only good thing to come out of this is spinoraptor

I am livid with the secret species/stegoceratops pack. The stego is awsome as an s tier Dino and the rest of the pack is awesome

I only bought like 2 of the dlc for JWE2 so I can’t really compare many of them since I am inherently biased towards the first game since I own all of the DLC

Honestly I think while there's better creature packs, Prehistoric Marines should be bumped up to A because it's one of the more all stars packs there. Packs tend to have 1-2 recognizable species surrounded by stuff that wouldn't sell on their own. In this case three of them are very recognizable (iconic with Dunkleosteus) prehistoric marine animals, and while Nothosaurus is more obscure it's not a bad critter for the in-game park and does tie in with that animated show. It's biggest boat anchor is just the game not making the marine side of things very interesting, and I don't know if anything outside of this dlc uses the rock platform.

My ranking: S tier: Biosyn Expansion, Malta Expansion and Secrets of Dr.Wu Expansion A tier: Clair Sanctuary Expansion, Early Cretaceous Pack and Feathered Species Pack. B tier: Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack, Cretaceous Predator Pack, Carnivore Dinosaur Pack and Return to Jurassic Park Expansion C tier: Camp Cretaceous Pack, Park Managers Collection Pack, JWE2 Deluxe Pack, Herbivore Dinosaur Pack, Late Cretaceous Pack, Marine Species Pack and JWE Deluxe Pack. I am a big fan of those hybrid species but making us pay again and not giving Scorpios Rex a lux skin was the bad parts in my book. But overall I say or list is really near what I would put.

I wanted it on Nintendo Switch so I could play it.

Honestly I said before but I will say it again, plateosaurus or any other early sauropodamorph, should have been in the JWE's Herbivore Dinosaur pack instead of the nigersaurus. Because I was least expecting the ptateosaurus or any other early sauropodamorph to be in the game back in 2019, but no that didn't happened because frontier decided to choose nigersaurus because they think that Cretaceous dinosaurs are more popular than Triassic and Jurassic dinosaurs.

Nothosaurus is my favorite animal in the game. S Tier!

Huayangosaurus being in the The deluxe edition pack and not the base game for Evolution 2 shouldn't have been done., I would've included a new species in it's place in the deluxe pack, something more unique like Scelidosaurus.

Personally I would put the Wu DLC as an A because it allowed you to have more transport choppers and 4.0 upgrades

So having just gotten JWE2 on sale for 90% off (knew waiting would pay off), if I had to get a pack right now, it would would ether be the Feathered Pack or the Aquatic. Those are the ones I'm most drawn to.

Ive played and beaten both games multipe times and bought every single dlc/expansion And honestly I'll do it again especially with the state both game ended theres 3 thing i really really want from on the potential 3rd game is that 1 Every single dinosaur or at the very least the flyers and water creatures to not be in dlcs i do not want to repeat the Hybrid pack 2 Story maps such as Clarie Sanctuary's and Biosyn return or reused in some form 3 The current state of AI and the QoL changes need to stay

Feathered pack will always be my favorite. Cretaceous predators might have been my favorite if they went with a more paleo-accurate Tarby (no disrespect to those who like the CC design or the people who made it). Still curious to see what JWE3 will bring.

Camp Cretaceous is D for me. I only ever use the Ouranosaurus skin, the rest is useless to me

Cretaceous Predator Pack was the turning point for JWE2, where Frontier started to cut corners. Tarbosaurus feels too much like a small t-rex, utahraptor has sounds taken from velociraptor, gigantoraptor couldn't hunt anything at the release and concavenator escape animation is broken to this day. Harsh opinion, but it's lazy, low-effort and kinda unfinished. Low B-tier. Hybrid pack has 2 reused dino species (almos 50% of the content), not much more to add... Park Managers’ Collection Pack was a nice finisher, could have some bigger species though (or sth like 1-2 more "big" species, totalling in 5-6)

what is this ranking my dude? firstly your level goes if its got two good dinos for 1 pack it goes into *A* but if its got 1 it goes into *C*.... but then you contradict that by putting the Cretaceous predator pack into S tier; which is astonishing that it is above the Aquatic pack. so many other questions...I feel like you needed to define what makes what at the start and then go into it, unless this was just a rambling...

Jwe1 was better with its prices everything in jwe2 is over priced and milked like the split dominion dlcs. I quite liked the Serects of Dr. wu dlc and other expansions, but have to agree on the deluxe edition and having a dlc only a month after release. The Raptor Squad skin pack, they should have been in the game not extras, Serect Species pack was the worst love the hybrids but making us pay for a jwe1 dlc again was very bad
