While the Lotus Europa I've already reviewed on my channel still remains the cheapest 1/18 AUTOart I have so far managed to add to my collection, this 1st Gen Gallardo Superleggera was the first 1/18 AUTOart I purchased, because it's a Lambo, and it's yellow, and the price was great as well (especially compared to the 2nd gen Gallardo Superleggera), and while I have also previously reviewed Maisto's Gallardo Superleggera and consider it to be a great model, in this review I will show you all the extra details you can only get after upgrading to a high end manufacturer. But doing so doesn't always mean you have to pay high end prices.
Pros:
- excellent interior
- fully perforated metal grilles both in front and back
- raised windows
- carpeting
- gloss carbon fibre
Cons:
- has a very thin, long scratch on the lower portion of the front windshield, almost invisible
- the undertray of my model is actually broken in some corners, so I didnt show it to you. I threw away some small loose plastic pieces when I first unboxed (but didnt unscrew) this model 3 years ago thinking they were part of the plastic frame of the box, but nope, they belonged to the model's undertray :'-( and I wish I had kept them all so I could have stuck them back in place with superglue when I finally removed the model from its base for the review.
