The Murcielago succeeded the Diablo in 2001, and was the postercar V12 Lambo I grew up with as a kid until the now well known Aventador replaced it. I reviewed a smaller 1/24 Murcielago Roadster by Motormax a few years ago on my channel, but today I'm doing the big one. Here are my thoughts on the competition:
Bburago:
+ best headlights
- worst taillights
+ separate black plastic grilles
/ brake discs rotate, but no brake calipers
- sometimes wobbly rear wheels
- B pillar is bodycolored (should be black)
+ accurate steering wheel
+ two-tone interior
Maisto:
/ decent headlights
+ best taillights
- worst grilles (sticker)
/ brake discs and lamborghini branded calipers, but do not rotate
+ accurate steering wheel
+ labeled buttons
Welly:
- worst headlights
/ decent taillights
+ separate black plastic grilles
/ brake discs and lamborghini branded calipers, but do not rotate
- weird looking steering wheel
+ deployable side air intakes

Nice model! The Murcielago is such a handsome machine. Most memorable thing about it for me is the shape of the headlights! I have a 1/18 Norev Murcielago LP670SV! The Maisto has a opening front boot! Sad that’s the only detail left out from the Norev. The Norev has moving rear air intakes but the bonnet must be opened to move them. 😅

thank you for this great 1/18 review ❤ me also as a 90s kid I played a lot of NFS with a mobile game called Asphalt, and I was fascinated by the Murcielago and the Bugatti Vyron we are close to 5K, I can't wait to see a special video for that 😍

The Welly's weird steering wheel pattern and lack of emblem is its biggest issue IMO. The headlights look a bit dim but the yellow paint on the inside is NOT present of the 1/18 one, but on the 1/24 Welly. The details are there inside though, just not as prominent. The tires don't have the branding but the Maisto's text is done kinda toy-like. Another nice feature on the Welly 1/18 is that the grilles are actually that they're not a flat plastic piece like the Bburago or a texture like the Maisto - there is a black piece behind but then a few milimetres in front is a clear piece with a grille-like texture on it. From the rear thru the grille you can actually see the rear cooling fans on the Welly.

Nice review. I have the Maisto LP640 in orange with the different 5 spokes. I like these wheels much better

If it’s a favorite, you should look for an old Gate, or an Autoart which shows at more budget price than any other Autoart. Gateway Limited, which produce those two, is the only way to go for a perfect, faithful casting. Otherwise, I find Hotwheels better than all those 3 you show. Even if the casting is a bit off too.

Nice!! From a distance it looks like one from AUTOart.

The key word is, from a distance. Once you examine the details, you know its a budget model. The exhaust is cheap chrome, the interior lacks the fine details and the grilles are solid plastic, detracting from the overall look.

0:38 Maisto is a May Cheong brand since its inception. It was started by MCG in 1990. Only Burago and Polisti brands were taken over by the group and not Maisto. 7:39 Maisto did make the LP640 in yellow. A simple search on Google would reveal that the model in Giallo Orion colour does exist.
