Thank you so much for this video. I was looking at this suit for a while and was tempted to get it. You're the only person who's really made an actual video over the official release.
I'm glad to hear that. Maybe they'll bring it around, but definitely not worth your money right now. I don't like giving bad reviews and I was extremely nervous about posting this.
Yeah, it's out of nowhere, I know. I am debating starting another channel where I can can talk about VR, TTRPGs, map making and other stuff I do for fun. It wouldn't be as formal or info-dense as a lot of my stuff here but should be fun. Is that something you'd be interested in seeing?
They sent me the suit after waiting a full year in one package then 2 months l8r they sent the trackers in another box. Yet still no cords and been ghosted roughly 2 months ago as well when I started asking questions
This suit seemed too good to be true tbh, thank you for the review, I was looking for reviews last year and couldn't find much aside from thrill seekers vid, glad I waited
I ordered the shockwave haptic suit in Aug27th of last year. It's been almost a year and nothing has arrived at all And I'm with you on getting Ghosted. That happened with me just asking "Hey, can I get a status on when the next delivery window is? Or what number in the queue I'm in?"
Thank you so much for telling us that this is not good recommendation I was considering this suit for a bit. It is almost like no one wants to talk about this suit for some reason. 🧐
Glad it was helpful. The lack of any reviews anywhere was what pushed me over the edge into making this video even though it's WAY off-brand from my usual stuff
I just found out about this through the ThrillSeeker video that showed up on my recommended so I decided to see if there has been any progress since then and I can say that I am quite disappointed
I had preordered the suit 10 months ago... I have just now sent an email requesting a refund. I have been sending them emails every month and have been ghosted for the last 3.
No. BHaptics has the best, most reliable haptic vest, but it is NOT cheap. If you're looking for the motion tracking, I recommend checking out @thrillseeker here on youtube. He does a lot of VR chat and explores a lot of body tracking solutions
I got mine a couple of days ago, today I finally could try it and... yeah pretty much what you said, I can't fit the pants, so I decided to check the trackers alone, the left ones straight up don't work at all, and the rest barely do, it has really demotivated me since I bought this on August 3rd 2023, I've been waiting for 9~ months for a total waste of time and money and I'm not sure what to do now, what would you recomend me? Should I talk to my bank and take legal action to try and get the money back?
Probably just what I did. Contact the support email and your bank right away. Your bank will probably want you to wait and see if they respond, but talk with them to learn what they will need form you to reverse the transaction. For me, I had to show that the product wasn't working and that the company wouldn't take sufficient steps to replace it.
sounds like a rough experience It's a shame bhaptics is 3x the price for the vest + arms combo, id love to try it but it's a lot of money to drop on a whim
Agreed. I also have the bhaptics vest and arms. Bhaptics are high quality products and worth the price, but only if you're really into the VR tech and have the money floating around. They're cool but not a necessity by any means
I'd start a conversation with your bank about your options. Let them know what happened (bought the suit, found concerning information, worried about delivery of the product) and they should be able to tell you how to proceed. For my bank, they requested copies of my emails with the support team and tried to contact the company on their own. When the company didn't respond, they marked it as something like "vendor did not provide product/services paid for" and refunded me.
1. On the video it is seen how top part and bottom part of the vest does come together by its size. But in the middle your belly is so big that it doesnt zip up. When taking measurements you could have assumed that vest is not fledible and you need the biggest measurement to be used (your belly) instead of what is at the top or bottom of it. 2. The suit has a lot of sensors and even more haptic feedback. If it were the usual sensors even them would have cost thousands of dollars. Their price is very cheap considering only tracking sensors. But then you even have haptic feedback! Sounds awesome. 3. There is no hassle of charging each component separately. To put on the suit is so fast compared to putting on many separate sensors. 4. Some axis pro trackers 16 of them I think cost 1400$ which is triple. 5. I think it was on you messing on the measurements. You can do some exercising and get more fit for the suit 😅 Anyway, sorry to hear about the situation. I myself too experiencing misunderstandings in some situations... I dont yet have a VR, but I like VR Chat, through pc. And looking forward to buy this suit.
Obviously getting more fit and slimming down my belly would make the pants and chest fit better. Why didn't I think of that?! In all seriousness, the rest of your points are irrlevant if the product doesn't work or can't be used. Also, this is your one warning @nameuser108. Any future attempts at body-shaming or personal attacks (minor or otherwise) on myself or other members of the community will be deleted from the comments and you will be reported to youtube and hidden from the channel.
You're delusional. Buy it, don't come crying. And when it doesn't fit, lose weight.. He warned you Funny how you're confidently saying all of this but you don't have the suit... It's a scam. "I myself too be experiencing misunderstandings" 🤣 Obviously Don't advise people on buying something you haven't bought or seen before and especially not arguing with someone who did
