@All things nerd. My game group love games like this. Our all time favorite is Twilight imperium. We are constantly competing against each other. This game is right up our ally.

Only backed the base game as I had reached the point of KS backing where I was a bit sick of all the extra boxes (didn't realise that they were going to squeeze the Max Chrome edition into one box). My copy still hasn't arrived but I'm hearing positive feedback like your own so excited to get it to the table.

The comparison between all-in on this, and all-in on something like CMON’s Masters Of The Universe game, as far as bloat goes, is like night and day. We backed MOTU as well and it’s like two or three shipping boxes with something like 6 actual game boxes. It’s amazing stuff, but I have nowhere to put it. 😆 TRV:MCE fits so nicely on one shelf.

I feel like the Maximum Chrome edition is worth it. The washed cars, the extra expansions, the semi-truck, the bikes, the extra road sections, all makes it so much better than just base game.

Not exactly, but as it is dice based, you can kind of wing it solo if you roll for the other team and just play them as logically as you would your own team. But its really meant to be played and enjoyed by two or more people.
