Reviewing WOKE Kids Shows with Matt Walsh - Part Two 

I have never seen a company put so much effort into destroying its own legacy faster than what Disney has done in the last few years.

If they didn’t keep racism alive they would have nothing to victimize themselves with.

Then they wonder why kids are depressed, angry, and unthankful… they’re literally pumping them full of sh#t

My nephew is half black/half white. At a recent family get together he (jokingly) said he was owed and wanted his 40 acres and a mule. I pointed out he was only half black so he gets 20 acres and a pony.

The best Kids show I've seen that Tackles racism is: "my little pony friend-ship is magic!" In an episode in the very first season, the character of Zecora is discriminated against because she is a zebra. Even the six main characters discriminate against her. But then the character of Apple Bloom opens up to Zecora and the two end up becoming friends. Then later the six Main characters open up to Zecora and overtime the rest of Ponyville recognize her as normal. The reason why I think it works is you can imagine Zecora as anybody who is different. White Black or Brown.

I've been fighting against my sister on letting her kids watch children shows for a decade now. I always said if indoctrination/propaganda exists in media then that goes double for children's media.

“We earn reparations for their suffering.” Roughly translates to “I deserve these benefits and special treatment for things that I’ve never had to deal with but can claim I did because I am a professional victim.”

Parents, if you want to entertain your kids with an actually good show. Show them Phineas and Ferb, it's one of the funniest cartoons I'd ever watched, and it doesn't try to push a narrative.

The 40 acres and a mule thing was a reward for some ex slaves for fighting against the Confederate states under Sherman. It was never a guarantee to all ex slaves.

I remember back years ago there was a someone who conducted a study in how much reperations the black community; and since the abolishment of slavery blacks have recieved well-enough in compensation and with interest.

I've shut down the reparations argument any time it's been brought to me with this statement: Using your own rules of reparations, you also owe me money because 20 years ago, my father's home was robbed by a black man.

I'm a white man, who is with a black woman. We've both been shown some racism throughout our lives, but at the end of the day, we can only make sure we treat everyone else equally. I can't get on board with the idea that Amers was "built" by African American slaves. I've always been taught the settlers came on the Mayflowers and began spreading. Of course there were plenty of wars, at the end of the day, if youre talking about who "built this country" that doesnt mean who "discovered first". It means who made the steps to build the country from the start. In most views, it would be the settlers. I just dont understand why you would consider the country not "built" until slaves were brought here. Its a confusing way to teach.

This stuff is absolutely disgusting. I never thought that I would have to deal with it too. I am still in school, and was excited about taking a real history class for once. Out of nowhere, they moved me to the "social justice world history class" where I would be learning how to be an antiracist and an ally instead of learning about ancient Rome and the World Wars. It makes me sick to my stomach hearing that this ideology is being forced not just on me and my friends, but little children who can barely even read, let alone understand the garbage they put on these shows😢

According to demographics displayed in cartoons and advertising, America must be 98% African American, followed by a aprinkling of random beige colors and a redhead with an afro thrown in there for diversity.

Oddly enough, ownership or rather the lack there of, is the problem. A lot of people do not take ownership of their lives, liberty or pursuit of happiness. You are responsible for where you are, for better or worse, if you don't like it take responsibility and change it. Thank you again Matt!!

Not only no race in the world scapes the guilt of slavery. People of every race was at some point in history was ENSLAVED by others.

Americans have descended from many groups of people, including: White people who owned slaves. White people who didn't own slaves. Black people who were enslaved. Black people who were not slaves, or owned slaves. People who exploited, or were exploited, in ways besides slavery. People who lived in states where slavery and Jim Crow didn't exist. Other ethnicities besides European or African, (Asian, Hispanic, Arabic, etc.) People who arrived in the US after slavery. All Americans come from some combination of the listed categories, it's just a matter of percentages between which categories.

It's a shame Proud Family that handled social issues for black kids pretty reasonably for the 2000s is now Pride Family (ft ONE man couple) handling social issues radically. And the real Proud Family fans ate still here for the ol characters, which is a mixed reception.

Fun fact: some of the first slave owners where black

Something often neglected from the history of the triangular trade is the fact that Africans sold other Africans into slavery. The Europeans did not raid for slaves because they lacked maps of the continent and treatments to tropical diseases. As a result, the Portuguese made a deal with the Kongo Kingdom. They'd capture and sell slaves and the Portuguese would give the Kongolese all sorts of riches for their labor. It was so lucrative that is completely destroyed the Kongo economy and society. The king was all powerful and unchecked in his power before the trade began, and after the Portuguese began influencing the monarchy to make it more European in structure, it became even more archaic and absolute. Taxation was arbitrary, meaning the king could just snap his fingers and he has a new toy. As a result, nobody made investments into modern technologies because the king could just take it away. The only modern technology they did invest in was firearms because they made the slave raiding easier. Speaking of which, the raids were also used to violently suppress the Kongo's slave raiding competition. They wanted to keep a monopoly so they could raise the price whenever, ensuring a profit from the Europeans. Because of the slave trade, people spread out from cities and roads, decentralizing society so they would not fall victim to the slave trade. Anyone who tried to protest these terrible acts were captured and sold off as well. This atmosphere of fear caused society to break down, but as long as the king remained wealthy off the slave trade. Well, the trade died out in the early 1800s, the Kongo Kingdom almost immediately collapsed. There was no civil society to keep people together in crisis and there were no industries to fall back on. The only investments made in the past three hundred years were in weapons technology. As a result, the new, post slavery economy was internal raiding. Stealing your neighbor's stuff became the foundation for the economy. This continued until French, Portuguese, and Belgian colonial officers conquered the region in the 1890s, and it was easy for them because there was no unified resistance amongst the Africans. Today, the Congo remains fragmented, unable to unite the constantly squabbling groups within its borders. In conclusion, while the Europeans egged on the slave trade, they left the Kongolese to their own devices, with which they became the architects of their own downfall. They did not look at the ramifications of the slave raids, only the profits. In fact, this story is repeating itself. Throughout the 20th century, Nauru had enormous and valuable deposits of phosphate, which was used for fertilizer. In short, the billion or so dollars made was poorly managed and poorly invested, and by the 1990s, the phosphate ran out. Nauru was left with lots of uninhabitable land as a result of the mining, so no agriculture can be done. As a result, Nauru has to import large amounts of cheap, processed food to feed the population, which is why the obesity rate is about 70%. For a much bigger example, the petrostates of the Persian Gulf. They hold one extremely valuable resource, hydrocarbons, and make absolute bank off of it, however they remain under totalitarian monarchies with archaic systems of law. Little investment has been made in other industries, and much of their enormous wealth is used to bribe their neighbors into submission or to fund terrorists to destabilize them. The only outside technology they immediately jumped on were American weapons. They have formed an organized bloc to ruthlessly control the market, influencing the price of a barrel to ensure they always turn a profit. They are entirely reliant on the rest of the world to buy their one product, because when we stop, they will crumble, and it's coming. The world is beginning to move away from fossil fuels, and when we no longer need Arabian oil, the peninsula will become a warzone. Arabia has been egged on by the rest of the world into a tough but lucrative situation, and left to its own devices, it has carved away its own foundation and replaced it with oil, just as the Kongo did with slave. It's a strange world we live in...
