In this video I talk about 3 classic sci-fi novels by H.G. Wells
1895, The Time Machine
1897, The Invisible Man
1897, The War of the Worlds
Apologies for twice referring to The Time Machine as The Time Traveller, hopefully no harm was done and you'll forgive me.
If you don't grasp the reference to Weena, don't fret, a read of The Time Machine will reveal all.
I also mention Guy de Maupassant and Rex Warner during this video and here are my videos on them:

This was great! The Time Machine is the only one I've read of these three. The Invisible Man seems particularly intriguing to me now after hearing what you had to say about it.

Thanks. All three are most entertaining. If you work out why The Invisible Man is quite so furious, feel free to let me know.

It's nice to see a triple review dedicated to classic sci-fi. The War of the Worlds is a very good novel and pleasant to read. Glad to see you appreciate it as well. Will have to put The Time Machine and The Invisible Man on the list of books to read. Thank you for this video, with your clear explanations and honest point of view. Enjoyed your reading some passages; as usual it adds a 'plus' to your reviews.

Thank you! Perhaps I should take three early works by Jules Verne and make a similar video; Verne started that other sci-fi tradition where speculation is founded on accurate scientific knowledge, whereas Wells was more of a dreamer.

@@TheChannelofaDisappointedMan Oh excellent idea! Yes, please consider making a similar video with Jules Verne. Totally makes sense to review some of his novels as you did for H.G. Wells.
