Was directed here by Brielle's shout-out to you. It's nice to meet you. Yeah you've got the right idea: having a system is the quickest antidote to perfectionism. You mark the things to be done, and then things get done. You bought a professionally bookbound version of your draft?! That'll certainly be a prime artifact years down the road when fans ask you questions about your process, so bravo for getting the jump on it.
@@AdamFishkin thank you!! and yes! I actually got the idea from Brielle, and I’m so glad I went through with it. It has been a game changer in revision! thanks for checking out the channel!
Just finding your channel and immediately subscribed. I have never gotten one of my books past the first draft stage, but I am changing that this year. I am still figuring out my methods (used to be a complete pantser.....now I am gradually becoming more and more of a plotter). I need some sort of kanban board and/or color code system for my editing. Thanks for taking us along on your process!
@@BonnieNicoleWrites aww, I am so glad you enjoyed the video! I completely relate to the pantser sliding into plotter territory haha, I find that I work best when I blend the two! Good luck drafting, you got this! This is my first time getting a book to the revision stage, so I’ll be figuring it all out right alongside you!
i really like your revision system! i'm still working on my first draft but it's great to see how other writers tackle this. where did you get your draft printed?
@@paytonjletko thank you! it’s been so fun to figure it out as I go! best of luck with drafting, that is such a great step so enjoy it! and I got line printed through Barnes & Noble Personal Press. BrielleWrites has a great video on how to do it!
@@andesears thanks! it's definitely been a fun time. i think i know what video of hers your talking about so i'll go back to it once i'm ready for that step! loved this video and can't wait to watch your others!
