Some channels are extraordinaly fantastic. Like seriously, my relatives stressed a lot on watching Khan Academy videos but I didn't and I can now realise the loss I faced all these years. Now I feel that my school tutors know nothing and don't know how to teach at all. You people have an answer to every 'WHY' that came up in my mind and know exactly what we must have thought at that moment. HATS OFF TO YOU SIR AND YOUR TEAM!! I love you guys infinite!!
the books didn't make a mistake in the dispersion, as you can see, there is space between two prisms and hence the light switches from denser to rarer and back to denser hence resulting in white light at the very end.. and hypothetically, we always consider one ray of light while doing ray diagram as multiple rays will also result in parallel dispersion, giving a larger sort of rainbow; that is, unless you consider a large amount of light incident on first prism.. it will just make it more confusing. So basically, just recheck if the books are correct, maybe? AND also if all colours overlap at the end, the resulting ray formed will be larger compared to the initial white light, like sort of torch which is not possible
Are you sure with this accomodation and that the muscles work in that way as you described? I heard something opposite. For far object you need to STRETCH the lens, and to do that you need to tight the muscles. For close object the lens needs to relax (contract) so the muscles need to relax. In my version - muscles pull (or not) the lens - to change it shape. So they work like... triceps. In your version - muiscles squeez (or not) the lens - to change it shape. So they work like biceps. Are you sure about your version?
im 9 months late but no hes correct, normally your lens are adjusted to see objects and long distances when you see nearby objects the lens are curved to allow refraction of light so that the image forms on the retina when u squeeze ur eyes ur realy just closing your eyelids and eyebrows u arent controlling ur cilliary muscles. i have myopia so i can confirm this, without glasses and without squeezing my eyes and i cant see far but as i bring a book closer to me suddenly i can see the text, this means that something in my eye has changed without me squeezing them
