10 Outrun is a cool game mode found on the 湾岸Maxi games, the third instalment was the last time we got to see this mode. I try out a couple notable cars on the Wangan and Osaka line courses to some fun doof doof from the man himself Koshiro-san.

Reminds me of the time I used a red Evo 9 for 10 outrun as well but on Hakone 😂 Unfortunately, I can confirm that Singapore’s last few WMMT3DX+ machines were removed from the arcade a few months ago 😭

yea, unfortunately a lot of arcades here are trying to mordenise and are replacing older arcade gamers with newer ones :(

10 Outrun was my favourite! The only one I can master is the Wangan Line and smashed the 32 Outrun with my FT'd Supra! (before my data got corrupted). The key element to clearing it is to do a Outrun Chain. This means doing a fast outrun with the close same split section time. AI cars will slow down around near hairpin turns so if the player managed to do an outrun before the turn, this will cause a slight speed drop there. In 32 Outrun the player starts with 30 seconds only but gain 12 seconds for each rival outrunned.

Too right. Yes I love the mode too, a nice remnant of Namco's other WM game. I was playing without a card so I am limited to the lower HP brackets but it's still worth the credits

Indonesia still has wmmt3dx+ arcades, although most of them can no longer use cards. But i still have the card from wmmt3dx+ and last play complete story mode in 2019

Operators turn them off to preserve the machines. not every arcade can afford the down time to fix them or the cards but I always play whatever machine I can find because these games deserve the play

@@K9arcade Nah. About half a year after the release of WMMT4, all the previous generation machines of WMMT were removed from all the arcades in SG. So i am certain that there's no longer have any old generation cabinets of WMMT machine in SG.

@@K9arcade But in SG, no arcades will keep the old machines even the small ones. The last time i saw a WMMT1-3DX machine was in 2011/2 and then they're all removed from SG arcades. I missed the old generation machines as they're more robust.

@@K9arcadedidnt the attract screen show card reader not functional,if it didn't thats still cool the card reader works but it has no blank cards in the machine

@@yukoaj6987 Only partially true. You can't go back and forth with data already on there if the region or version doesn't match what's on it.
