I'm a Friday Night Funkin' fan... it often sucks being one but hey, it's cool sometimes. So in this video, I'd like to ignore the Skibidi Toilets and the Poppy Playtimes and shed more light on Mario's Madness and the Silly Billys of the Friday Night Funkin' Modding world. It's unfortunate how far this game has fallen but with the Weekend Update and the Pitstop Update maybe things are finally up for this game. The main issue that has been with fnf all these years is: Mod dev: starts developing a good looking mod with a good team (5 seconds later) ooooh children (Basically nearly fnf mod dev likes children)

I really liked this game and still enjoy it today. The community can sometimes be a pain. Such as toxic fans or the many dramas. And there are some people that think that the mods nowadays are mostly 99% of Sonic or Sonic EXE. When there are many mods that have came out in recent times other than that. This was a good video, liked 👍

All the people who were modding fnf just for fame have moved on from the game after it died out like every game ever, leaving just the actually passionate people to make the mods. In some ways like that, the inevitable life cycle of games can actually be good in some cases because of how it weeds out all the trend-hoppers. Now we have things like Funkscop and Hit Single instead of your average Vs. Shrek

Personally, how I enjoy FNF is by just enjoying whatever new comes around (whether it's from the base game or a mod) in the moment, and not giving a crap about whatever new drama is unfolding every 5 minutes.

@@Rytio_ As a Poppy fan, it unironically hurts my eyes just watching those Poppy fnf mods, i think Poppy Playtime has potential when it comes to making fnf mods out of it, its just sadly isnt being used correctly and ends up being cringy

I believe fnf didn’t fall off. The constant pedos and the BASTARDIZATION that the internet had on it, making it into a childish, disgusting sludge pile of terrible content. The mods are fkn fantastic and they have only gotten better. I will never forgive the internet for what it did and I will die on the hill that fnf is a great game and deserves a better legacy. Thank you for making this video. Tho the weekend update is less of an update for the game, and more of a start of a path I believe the devs are going down. (Btw I agree poppy playtime was the beginning of the end I will never forgive that fucking game)

I like the game because of how simple it is, I suck at rhythm games but like jamming out to good music. So I hated it when people started trying to make the "next hardest mod" by just adding fast and stupid charting that doesn't even sound good. Now many new mods needs 50 insta-kill bomb notes, dodging, 5 key, 999 scroll speed, typing mechanic, teleporting judgement lines. Or they make another sonic.exe clone. It's sad because I see so many mods that have high effort and passion, yet the "popular" ones are shit like "Dave and Bambi" or Matt because they're "TEh HaRdEsT MoD!1!"

Thats how I felt about indie cross, its great and I wanna love it, but the amount of mechanics and one shots makes it hard to enjoy.

@@Rytio_ For me, it’s only a big problem if there’s no option to turn the mechanics off. Like the Spooky mod has an option to turn off dodging so that you can focus on notes and music.
