Revisiting old Tekken (T3, T4, T5) and trying out other Tekken games

Now that I got a new PC, I can emulate PS1 and PS2 games very well! Of course, Ultra Hard difficulty is a pain! I actually did play Tekken 3, Tekken 4, and Tekken 5 before, but that was more than a decade ago. I played Tekken 4 and Tekken 5 in the arcades, and Tekken 3, I played it on my uncle's computer. Jeez, it really has been long... Now that I have all these games, my collection is complete! That is until Bandai Namco might release Tekken 8 in the future.

Controller used to play: Real Arcade Pro. 4 Kai
Emulators: ePSXe (PS1 Emulator) and PCSX2 (PS2 Emulator).
Games Played on Emulator: Tekken, Tekken 2, Tekken 3, Tekken Tag Tournament, Tekken 4 and Tekken 5.
Tekken Games I have: Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, Tekken 6, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Tekken Revolution and Tekken 7.

Tekken 4 and 5 are by far my favourite Tekken games of the Franchise. Especially Tekken 4 is sourly the most unique and underrated (mostly because of the choices that hindered the competitive scene) but it is my favorite Tekken to date, because of the very seriousness Vibes of the Story aspects perspective. The seriousness atmosphere of Tekken 4 it's on another level in my opinion. The soundtrack is what gets me the most next to the game's atmosphere. With soundtracks like: Fetus(Prologue), Authentic Sky, Unihabited(Mall Area) Didgerhythm(Jungle Area) Touch and Go(Airport Area) and Kitsch(Beach Area) and The Inner Shrine(Hon-Maru Temple) and others soundtracks, For me Tekken 4 remains even in these days the most Unique Tekken game of the series.☯️

Forget how amazing tekken 3 was with Eddie. Absolutely killer game one of my all time favourites. Its my favourite ps1 game for sure

Wicked. 3, 4 and 5 are the best but we are so lucky to have the tag and tag2. Never got to play tekken x street fighter and im gutted about that.

Why is Tekken 1 Heihachi so overpowered in terms of damage? That damage is like literally Paul’s Burning Fist from Tekken 3. I just love the “Get Ready for The Next Battle” in Tekken 5. The announcer sounds like he’s the person who also said EA Sports ;-; I played Tekken 6 and Tag 2 and the announcer and loading times were disappointing.

I have no idea why the damage is that OP, one launcher is pretty much death. Also, I don't think the announcer for Tekken 6 and Tag 2 is that disappointing, I find both of them very encouraging. The loading time for Tekken 6 takes forever though.

@@RemuLazor Yeah ;-; but the customisation in Tekken 6 is so epic lol. I made a literal ghost rider out of Dragunov. The reason why I don’t like the Tekken 6 announcer is maybe the fact that the voice just echoes alot of times before the round starts.

@@icxydragon True, the customization was also great for Tag 2. I made Sasuke Uchiha out of Jin, Wolverine out of Heihachi, and Vegeta out of Kazuya. For the announcer, yea it's kinda annoying that the voice echoes alot.

@@RemuLazor Lol,I made a Demon out of Devil Jin and a Pirate out of Yoshimitsu ;-; And then I realised I no longer had enough gold, I spent most of it on Dragunov ;-; Tag 2 also had good customisation, although not even near the level of Tekken 6 as Tag 2 mostly only allows Tops, Bottoms, Hair Styles and Accessories while Tekken 6 allows just a lot of different cool customisations :P I wish I could customise Jinpachi and make him his Demon self but that’s not possible without cheats :( Oh and because of Scenario Campaign, I made Lars look like a Karate Master and Raven like a 90s cool kid ;-;

Heihachi can pretty much death combo you if he gets you with a demon uppercut (ff2) Aside from him, king is insanely broken too, his df1 is a poking move that gives you so many plus frames when blocked, that you can go make lunch and by the time you're done, your opponent will still be stunned and unable to do anything. Oh, and Armor King. He's like King, but with that signature mishima uppercut added for some reason. So basically, the most broken character in Tekken 1. He has it in every game though and it's cool.

If you have a PS1, you can only use a PS1 controller. If you are emulating the game, then yes, any controller works.
