Today I learned we now have viewers that aren’t old enough to remember pressing Start + Select was the original *intended* way to soft reset Namco games. Anyone got any dye for grey hairs? Asking for a friend...
I enjoy the competitive side of Tekken, but I love the silly, offline, casual side. That's the side that made me a fan of the franchise. Back when Tekken was just a fighting game that you played for fun. I've never much cared for online and ranking. I just got the game to have fun.
8:51 Woah, that gave me a nostalgic scare..... like, that's something I would see if a demo of a game ended and went back to the demo menu of other games.
All of Heihachi's "OOoooOOOoo!!" from Tekken 1 & 2 || 0:57 (freebie) 3:58 (kicked in the face by Yoshimitsu) 4:08 (back handed in the face by Yoshimitsu) 4:13 (kicked in the face by Yoshi again) 4:32 (thrown by Nina) 4:53 (bodyslam thrown by Marshal Law) 6:17 (thrown by Thanoszuya) 6:31 (Wind God Fisted by Thanoszuya) 6:35 (thrown by Thanoszuya again) 6:51 (kicked by Thanoszuya) 9:17 Kazuya's character portrait is fucking hilarious 😂👌
Tekken: the one no one really thinks about. Tekken 2: Tekken 1.5 Tekken 3: The one Harada likes. Tekken 4 and 5: The two Harada hates. Tekken 6: The one with a bumping ass character select screen Tekken tag tournament 2: The favored one with a forgotten wiiu port. Tekken 7: We lost bouncy boi.
The T1 ending looks like the Windows XP background and the melody in the background sounds like Windows XP shutdown. All conveniently after you used Windows XP jokes. And the T2 character select theme is similar to the song you used during the T1 gameplay.
Kazuya: Going somewhere, Heihachi?! Heihachi: Kazuya! I thought you were- Kazuya: Thought I was what? DEAD?! Like my 10 year-old self you tossed off a cliff?!
I have a theory about the last tekken 2 fight. It's not real. It's inside Kazuya's head after being beaten. That's why the stage suddenly changes to a hallof mirrors. All he can think about is the fight. Which is why you see the fight going on infinitely in the mirrors.
I always thought that Because in tekken 4 heihachi seems surprised that kazuya is actually the devil, since in gameplay, he fights the devil in tekken 2, so i think the fight with the devil never happens, just in kazuya's head
@@Gorecatto His dark side is fuelled by the nightmare of being beaten over and over, all that being orchestrated by the devil inside him. Unfortunatly the story get pretty dumb after this point and lose all symbolism.
Joshua Xiong exactly, but namco spent their budget on Dragon ball Z merchandise. Which is also one of the reasons which made Ana, Julia and other legacy characters paid DLC characters even though Harada promised that all the legacy characters will be given for free 😕
@@juno.2190 he is reffering to the actual gameplay ... in the gameplay defeating nancy was waaaayy way way more dificult then defeating jin in tekken 6
So as a kid playing Tekken 6. When I saw for the first time Azazel i was like: "What kind of a bird was that?! A monstrous Bird!" I kept calling him Monstrous Bird afterwards whenever i see him again.
