The announcers were definitely at their best in this game. It was always so funny after that one teammate finally got kicked for team killing hearing “Get that dickweed out of my sight”

I love how different the bo2 knife was from ghosts. Bo2 requires actual precision while in ghosts you could run past someone, hit knife button and the game would 180 you into the knife animation.

Seeing that one player awestruck over seeing Mr Act Man in a lobby was so wholesome to see

The soundtrack is still stuck in my mind, the campaign, HELL EVEN THE NPC MODELS ARE SO MEMORABLE FOR ME

One In The Chamber on BO2 is still hands-down the most fun I have ever had in COD multiplayer. Nothing has been able to beat it yet

Its crazy Microsoft has already done more for CoD in just a few weeks than Activision-Blizzard has done in years. Playing peak CoD multiplayer between MW2 and BO2 was such a good time

I’ve been playing the old MW3 , and unlike the newer cods, I always seem to have fun playing. I think a lot of this comes from the lack of SBMM in older cods. Every lobby feels SO different, instead of always throwing me against the same level of skill.

This game is amazing. The maps, the guns, the music, the atmosphere. Literally EVERYTHING is perfect. This era of gaming was great in general. We got all these amazing cod, halo, and battlefield games consistently.

I think it's worth noting just how happy The Act Man is. He really seems to be enjoying himself in a long time 😁

Man I was never even into CoD but I played the absolute hell out of this game as an early teen back in 2012. I remember the absolute effort I put into getting the gold knife, that was hell. This was some good nostalgia to watch haha, brought it all back

This sent me down nostalgia lane so hard 👌 I remember being in a BO2 clan in high school, constantly ignoring my homework because the homies were on grinding clan rep. Simpler times.

Man I miss BO2, I couldn't help but have a huge smile on my face throughout the video.

To this day, BO2 will remain the end of COD's golden age and the last true masterpiece that the franchise deserved back in 2012. Its a real shame that after this point, the franchise has never really reached this amount of peak due to Activision's bad buisness decisions and a lack of care for its core fanbase.

This was the last great cod multiplayer that you could just log on after a long day and kick some ass. The guns felt great, the maps were great, and the kill streaks were freaking awesome. Really crazy just how good this game was and I’m excited to jump back on shred some people.

The maps in this game are genuinely the best in the entire series. Most of them play really well and take place in unique and colorful settings which make them even more enjoyable to play, map design really peaked in bo2.

this is something that makes me love black ops 2 with the servers being up and everyone so lively. i wish i could go and relive it again though i unfortunately do not have an xbox 360.

I'm so glad that you really did get to enjoy a great lobby of dudes that all wanted to enjoy a classic favorite. Playing 5 or 6 straight matches with zero people leaving, great chats, and everyone having a great time. I made a couple good friends who were always online back then...it's been over a decade but I hope they're all doing alright. I might have to jump online again and play some games again just to experience it again

played this game so much back then in my classmate's house back on the 8th grade, the CO-OP multiplayer the progression system and the hardcore modes in this was perfect.

The drone swarm was my favorite killstreak in the game. Favorite moment though was convincing friend i dropped a carepackafe when i died when it was the robot instead

I miss the custom emblems. I made a few I was really proud of at the time, and I remember people even making tutorials on how to make some of the more detailed ones. Wish they'd at least bring that back

As someone who gotten the Master playercards for most of the modes on PS3, you had to be there, and I'm glad you got a taste of what that was like back then. Even did Multiteam games. 3v3v3 was pure chaos!

I never had bo2 but I remember playing at a friends house. I completely forgot about sticks and stones but that, one in the chamber and gun game were the go to modes.

I still remember the days when I would get home from school and hop on Bo2 and play search and destroy. I met so many fun people back then, and there was so much interaction between both teams because of death chat. I kinda miss that interaction in today's era of gaming.

More of these! Cod4, mw2, bo 1, world at war. So fun to go back to lately! Quadriplatically.

You posted this right around when online servers for Splatoon 1 and Mario Kart 8 Wii U was brought back. Hearing the news I could play og Splatoon again left a noticeable increase in serotonin release in me.

Its dope seeing Act get recognized in game. Well deserved acknowledgement. Just goes to show the impact and following he has within this community, which I'm not even a big part of (CoD).

I never played this one but I played Modern Warfare 2 on the 360 and it was fire. Watching Act Man be so happy while playing a game was both heartwarming and depressing, because on one hand, it shows that we aren't just getting cynical because we are getting older, its that games back then really were made to be fun. On the other hand its sad, because no game will ever be made this way again, as games now are only meant to be infinite monetization machines with no love or soul behind them. Its so bittersweet, but I'm glad that for a brief moment these servers got opened back up so gamers could experience what its like to just play a fun game together one last time before this age of gaming vanishes forever.

Shit a wave of nostalgia hit me. I used to play this game an unholy amount. It was so fun, it rewarded you for every kill via soundbites and visuals on the screen. The voice work in the background makes a tonne of difference compared to the modern games. I wish i could go back in time

this game single handedly took away from me the panic melee to this day because of how much the knife felt it was made of rubber

BLOPS 1 & 2 was prime COD gameplay, also I remember how much of a menace the knife was in BLOPS 1 they nerfed it into the ground in 2. It's awesome that these games still hold up!

I can remember someone used the attack dogs kill streak on World at War and being petrified when you could hear them chasing after you. Good times.

This reminds me when I was a lad and played Call of Duty MW multiplayer for days on end. Exact same screams and jolts of excitement and tension. Multiplayer shooters are truly animalistic.

Man I don’t even know how to begin. BO2 is definitely in my top two multiplayer COD games. The other being MW2. But seeing this made me happy just like my 12 year old self did. I need to revisit this game soon I would love to rekindle those memories!
