Years ago, I spent over 700 hours, and probably an equal amount of money on Neverwinter. Endgame, top tier content and permanent buffs were locked behind either years' worth of timegated content, such as reputation weekly quests and events, or behind thousands of dollars worth of microtransactions that you could use to skip the absolutely unbelievable grind. Today I return to the greediest RPG that I have found to exist to see just how well (or poorly) time has treated this game. Has it aged like wine, or like milk? Let's find out.
