Okay, I had to step in on this topic. Good topic by the way. So I have a different opinion here. We sacrificed last year. Perhaps it could not have been helped because james wanted out, but the sixers reneged on an obvious deal. I don't understand how everyone says Tyrese took this great step. When in reality, the sixers were like thirteen and twenty seven without joel. Harden won two playoff games, essentially by himself Against boston with two forty point games. Harden had a near triple double in the third win against boston. I guess that doesn't count for anything. Ultimately, doc rivers was responsible for Losing to boston. Tyrese maxie shot forty three percent from three with james here, thirty seven percent without him. Maxi's two point shooting percentage went down as well. Maxi scored five or six additional points, but he took five additional shots to increase his point production by five points.That's not good. Don't get me wrong. I love maxi, but let's not inflate. What he did last year. Maxi credits james for a lot of his success as well. We would not have lost to the knicks if james was here last year. The 76ers led the league in 3 point shooting Percentage with james here that dropped tremendously also. James was twenty and ten for the last two seasons with us.No one in the n b a did that for 2 consecutive seasons. With James. Here, everyone's three point shooting percentage went up with harden. Darryl morey is a magician.However, all last year he kept complaining about needing a playmaker.Needing a playmaker. I guess it's gonna be playmaker by committee this year with paul george in the lineup. Maxey is a shooting guard, he is not a point guard.
