So sad Brain Street never made it in. When I first saw it in the trailer, I wondered how to access it, and I was sorely disappointed when I found out it was scrapped.

I knew about main street but zombified, but seeing that driftwood was also getting the treatment I was so shocked. I wish these were added as a guy that never got to play gw1 in its prime. And then it was gonna be called brain Street and I want to cry
8:38 you know it’s kinda sad. The max rank is 5455 and twilight chomper had an extra 45 levels. 5455+45= 5500 (5501 in gw2 because it skips one when you go up a rank plate) so if twilight chomper gave you levels we could’ve had that 55th rank plate in the game :(
The reason that toxic Citron does not have a beam weapon is because it would be green and look too much like both solar beam and toxic beam. Too many green beams in the game would get confusing
The photos of the Zombified main street looks very good and should have been released instead of walnut Hills but this whole documentary is super awesome and I enjoyed it hope to see more stuff like that
I honestly just wish most of these things were in the final game. The GW relics and maps are the thing I mostly wished was definitely added in the final game because it would have been cool to see those Zombie theme variations. I wondered if there was a idea for a Wall-Nut Plains version since they didn’t show a zombie version of that.
I had high expectations for this video but it was so well put together and had so much interesting unused content documented in it that it not only met those expectations but exceeded them. Your one of the best PVZ GW2 content creators easily and this video proves it.
i believe the unused models for magni and power lily were planned replacements for sunflower's heal flower, so you could trade out your heal station for either a defense buff or a damage buff to yourself and nearby teammates this is just my speculation, btw
This is an absolute masterpiece. I can easily see the amount of work and determination put into this. And I have to admit, I have not felt this excited for a pvz related video in ages. I thought I knew all the scrapped content in this game but I now stand corrected. What I would like to say is well done with this documentary, I enjoyed it a lot. 😊
4:58 THEORY: Those are time shards in Infinity Time, The time shards are the only thing in the entire game I can possibly think of that bear any resemblance to those green crystals.
Absolutely Incredible stuff!! I love to see that this game still has such a passionate community after all this time and despite the discontinuation of the game’s development. I love this game to pieces and am so thankful to see content like this. I am still hopeful that one day this game will be revisited and revitalized. Such a great game and great community
Also in garden warfare 2 there was going to be maps where they were fully controlled by zombies and fully controlled by plants like the night and day modes for maps in garden warfare 1

3:44 I don’t think that is Main Street, I think that is crash course. You can see propeller blades in a familiar shape to the propeller blades on a crashed vehicle in the crash course loading screen. 4:04 the flying vehicle is actually in the game, it can be found in the z-tech factory map

The fact that there’s so much more unused content that meets the eye makes me wish that there was a gw3 so some of this stuff could see the light of day
This sounds like one of those bot comments you usually see but I honestly appreciate the effort that went Into this video, I didn't realise it was 40 minutes when I clicked on it and was pleasently surprised 20 minutes in when I realised I was only half way though. I like to think I know alot about this franchise but there's quite alot here I've never seen or even heard of.
This was an amazing watch loved every second of it. Something that popped into my head that connects both Main Street and Zombopolis is that they include the attacking team stopping a powerful weapon from launchin Would have been cool to see main street in garden warfare 2 though
I feel like they skimped out on the Story Mode npcs. Sure, i can accept that Dr Zomboss would send 2 scientists and a potentially pre-recorded video to help you on your way, but meeting just another Dave-Bot instead of Crazy Dave himself just seems a bit off knowing that the Plants and Zombies are basically polar opposites.
I see magnifying grass only really working in gnome bomb (maybe a few areas in turf) since ops ai always attacks pots unless scaredy is hiding then there’s only a chance it feels like
i just got back into pvz gw2 from playing thousands of hours before and these are great videos for relearning or just learning information i think i awesome or interesting. these make me want gw3 even more with all the unused content
Looks like the entire gw2 team was called off out of no where, as everything was just randomly cut off from being worked on. seems like Ea or Popcap wanted another game so randomly called the entire development team off to go on bfn
Ur a legend mate. I hope one day someone will make it so we can play the zombified version of main street. Also seeing crazy Dave in person is uncanny after seeing the 2d version of him all my life.
'Brain Street' and having the idea of having all the GW1 maps turned into zombified versions gave me idea for a PvZ shooter game 'Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3' or 'Plants Vs. Zombies: Zomboss takeover'. It would basically have all the variants in GW2 but also have some more, it would also have the BFN characters but with variants, perhaps there is also another 3 new characters for each side as well, Torchwood, Hovergoat, Wizard, Tv Head, and Wildflower would all come back, and Iceberg Lettuce would be finished and put into the game. My idea is that the zombies have taken over all of the PvZ world. There would be something similar to Giddy Park maybe, or it could be the Backyard Battleground. Since the zombies have taken over most, if not all of the PvZ world, the plants would be in some underground hidden camp out from the zombies, still secretly alive, while the zombies assume they're gone and they have won. There would be story modes that perhaps would show the plants taking back some control of the world. For example, PvE for the plants would be them doing some missions that are fun, like BFN's PvE, and one completed, perhaps their area is grown of control. I have two ideas for the zombie's PvE. One is that they turn against Zomboss, considering how he has treated them so badly for so long, but the other idea is that the zombies find some plants doing their operation of trying to take back control, so they end up finding their underground camp and disbanding it so the plants have to scatter to a new camp. I'm guessing that the GW2 and GW1 maps would come back Zombified. Maybe a few of them are still normal, like imagine a 'Suburpolis' where the plants have taken over all of Zombopolis, and the ending zombot could be the Driftwood Shores Mega Sunflower being powered by plant food. Sorry for the long comment, just was thinking this could be a cool idea, maybe it could just be a spin-off for if this ever happened.
Fun fact, in the mission where u rescue an iron citron from a cage to hunt a shrimp, but that shrimps name in the game files refers to "wolfnpup" considering the missions were never an update to the game it seems are renegade imp started development as the game released, that or the name of the ai used in the mission was changed.
This is my favorite seris by far to dig into the files of the game to uncover every singel small detail of this series that could change our futuer and rest of the series as we know it. ( If you are new to this channel and watch this video every thing from last documentary about pvz gw2 unused content was also coverd here so you don't need to watch last documentary but you should because it was amazing)
@LtDarkRing You might not see this but the Overtime music in BFN was actually supposed to be used in the flag minigame in the backyard battleground! I remember I heard the overtime music go off and I quickly was like "What the?!" I never heard it again after that. I think PopCap ended up removing it
A bit of digging through stuff with frosty editor and i noticed that if a player spawns in a renegade mech it has 500 health, but an ai spawned mech and an ai renegade imp has a boss amount of health, which leads me to believe he was ment to be playable
3:21 the entire left side of this picture’s buildings were repurposed for the backyard and the bridge shown is reused in zombopolis, the big machine that’s cut out of frame is used in z tech factory
Another 2 thing that zombopolis kept was was the giant rocket bot it was placed on top of the building in capture point 4 in zombopolis and the disco burger joint area was also made into the disco diner you can even spot the disco diner building having a almost the same layout as in main Street burger joint area the only thing that has changed was the removal of the burger where the plants would go to get high ground and camp there (in alternate universe I can see a bunch of pirates and soldiers camping there) imo since we had garden center turned into a zombie environment for team vanquish then we should have gotten a remake map for turf
5:57 is probably the old version of the shards in infinity time likely either a old version or may have changed colours in different stage example the green shard could've been an icon for the green stage of infinity time and probably was other versions like rainbow red etc
one of my friends gave me that garden warfare sticker pack and inside contained 50 of every single type of legendary pottred plant and pot even though it was 2021 or 2022 when you couldnt normally get like DJ Uplink;s and Monk Choy's and stuff like that.
15:55 oh that was supposed to be a player equivalent to the big stumps dash and smash attack. I can tell from the explosion shockwave that it makes when he stops rushing. The devs probably didn’t want to give him a big stump ability and or they thought he needed some more defensive moves so they gave him leaf shield instead.
As a person who writes down ideas about games in the shower and likes pvz I have an idea for the SB going super sayan animation Karate brains: Fill a meter by meleeing people (Now with karate chops) After filling it you can spawn 3 karate zombies and gain a speed boost But you only have 125 health
It’s a shame I won’t be here for the premiere since it premieres at 3am for me because I live in the Southern Hemisphere, so I won’t be here at the premiere. But I can’t wait to watch it! Gonna be the biggest documentary yet!!
39:28 this is an interesting theory, but, in one of the videos that was released on the PVZ channel prior to the release of the game, its stated that the "backstory" behind GW2 is that, the zombies WON, they have taken over and the plants are trying to take suburbia back, in their own words "for the first time in the series, the plants are on the offense, and the zombies are on the defense" so if i had a theory on this, id say the reason the remastered maps got scrapped was because they figured theyd rather give players a new experience with new and fresh maps, as opposed to just "the same thing with more characters and a different coat of paint"
